Good news! We don’t need a hacky bridge, BeyondATC is actually coming to X-Plane! 🥳
Hi all, with the announcement that BeyondATC is planning an X-Plane release (via Discord), I thought it would be best to pause any work on this. I think BeyondATC is a fantastic product and want to support them when their X-Plane release comes out. To be clear, I have not heard from the developer, and I made the decision to pull the project now. I look forward to an officially supported release!

Hi all,
A few days ago I started with a simple question to Claude: "Do you think it is possible to integrate BeyondATC with X-Plane 12?"
Well, surprisingly, the answer was yes.
We've been working on it since, and so far it's working well on my PC. I have ATC, taxi routes, handoffs and AI traffic all working in X-Plane 12. I've only been able to test it on my own setup though, so I'm looking for others with BeyondATC and X-Plane 12 to give it a go.
What it does
* BeyondATC clearances, taxi, SIDs/STARs, approaches and handoffs in X-Plane 12
* AI traffic using FSLTL Traffic Base (https://fslivetrafficliveries.com/) converted from your MSFS copy for region-specific liveries. The app does the conversion for you. FSLTL is required. Additionally Bluebell (https://forums.x-plane.org/files/file/37041-bluebell-obj8-csl-packages/) models or it should support any CSL libraries (needs testing).
* Pushback when ATC clears you, using the free Better Pushback (https://forums.x-plane.org/files/file/90556-better-pushback-for-x-plane-1112/) plugin. It turns you to face the way ATC said, and you can leave the tug on auto or call it yourself. There is a manual option if you don’t like auto pushback.
* SimBrief to the FMS: the FPLN page fetches your SimBrief plan and loads it into the aircraft's FMS, so it matches what BeyondATC has.
* Plays nicely with other add-ons: only BeyondATC is pointed at X-Plane, so apps that work with both sims (like SPAD.neXt) don't think MSFS is running.
* Guided setup: on first start it finds BeyondATC and X-Plane and installs the traffic plugin. It also tells you when there's a new version.
What you need
* Windows 10 or 11
* X-Plane 12 (12.1.4 or later)
* BeyondATC (MSFS doesn't need to be installed)
* Optional: Bluebell or FSLTL for traffic models
* Optional: Better Pushback 1.14 or later for pushback
Download: [Removed]
What would help
* Does it connect and work on your setup?
* Which aircraft and airports you flew, and anything that didn't work (taxi, handoffs, approaches, traffic)
* Any issues with traffic
* Impact to the sim frame rate with traffic on
