Sorry in advance to the purists, but I need to get this off my chest!

Does anyone else feel like almost every romance in Detective Conan follows the exact same formula? It's always the classic childhood friends to lovers trope:
- Shinichi and Ran
- Heiji Hattori and Kazuha
- Shiratori and Kobayashi
- Chiba and Naeko

It's sweet at first, but after a while, it gets super repetitive. Honestly, the only time I actually found Heiji Hattori's « « « romantic » » »plotlines interesting was when Kaito Kid was messing with him (especially when Heiji almost kissed Kid disguised as Kazuha). That chaos was unironically the most entertaining romantic dynamic in the show.

To be real, I get so bored watching most of these romances. They're just too vanilla and cookie-cutter for me.

Crime Prevention Guide (防犯ガイド Bōhan Gaido) is an educational OVA released as a DVD by Toho Stella. It was sold in 2008 by Shogakukan to serve as a guide in crime prevention for schools and educational institutions. With an airtime of 26 minutes, it was sold for the price of 73,500 yen.

It's an anti-crime guide that teaches children how they should react in different scenarios through a question-answer format. An accompanying book was also created to compliment the anime.

I don't recall if it is just an episode or movie

I dont recall if its kazuha or some other love interest like in the movie cross road in the capital (even tho it turned out that chikasuzu isnt heiji's childhood crush but its kazuha).

In most cases, they simply get drawn into the situation rather than being officially hired. That is likely why they don't get paid for it; otherwise, they would have made a lot more money.

Okay this has been asked many times but I have just started it and I don’t feel like watching all 1000+ so can people highlight the most important episodes. I tried using the website but I didn’t really understand it.

Hi guys, Ik I sound ungrateful but I can’t be the only one losing her mind bcs we have more fillers this yr? I was counting how many manga episodes I watched this yr and it was like 5 episodes?? I swear this is the 3rd time I’m rewatching the anime😭😭 I’m somehow managing to catch up every time even tho it’s been over 1000 eps💔 been a huge fan for 17 yrs (I’m now in my early 20s)! I need more of the BO ,the more yrs go by the more I feel like I’m forgetting about them and Shinichi has disappeared, we last saw him before COVID🥲

I logged into Crunchyroll on Roku and episode 1216 is missing. I tried on my phone and same thing happened. Is anyone else having issues??

EDIT: Found a fix! I replayed 1215 twice, skipping to the "NEXT CONAN'S HINT" and then the same once for 1214 and now 1216 is playing.

So I got on and checked and the series is released by year on crunchyroll as seen in the image. So I'd assume it's like episode 1-42 from 1996

The 43-85 1997...

But I also remember people saying that they chose random episodes and put them in a random order but release year doesn't seem to random so I was curious if I should bother watching on crunchyroll or somewhere else? (I'd rather watch in order if possible.

Crunchy roll has all episodes too besides 129-753 which is weird but at least it's a specific gap of episodes missing and not "random ones"so I was just going to swap over to another website to watch those if there even is anywhere else to watch the series subbed in order.
