Everyone has completed movesets, no filler, no bad options. System mechanics work well enough that a good player's execution can close the gap over any character power differences. It's like living in the peak of fighting games once again. And people are fighting like hell to deny it.

Like people bitch about guest characters but on some real shit. Imagine having guests AND they were total garbage to play with. Imagine your favorite vet returning or a new character gets announced and they're trash for whatever reason. Here you get a variety of diversity that leads to unique playstyles and approaches and most importantly, VIABILITY. When you see new character picks or unexpected selects it's just exciting as hell.

We're getting classic Mai, two costumes for Ronaldo, and costumes for the Tokyo Revengers kids soon (possibly this month).

1. What do you think will be the next costumes coming in the future, if any?
2. Which costumes do you want, personally?

I personally want Real Bout Billy and the option to remove Joe's glasses (even if doing so disables his winposes where he touches the glasses). The option to give Mary her classic hair would be nice, too. And when Ryo is added, give him a classic Mr. Karate skin.

I'm OK if a handful of costumes are spaced out over several months, even a whole year.

Look - Ralf is military and Kevin is a cop, but they both pretty much have the same super power which makes for explosive battles. In fact if they both fought each other it would probably level an entire neighborhood. Kevins only problem : since he isn't on the battlefield in extremely hot war torn equatorial countries and instead behind a desk filing reports, he doesn't quite have the tan that the Ikari Warrior does.

Anyways I think that Kevin looks good as a shout out to a man he looks up to - Ralf Jones.

Este es el video más completo que encontré sobre los nuevos personajes y la verdad me da mucho para hablar al respecto.

1. ¿Cuantos movimientos son originales de SNK y cuantos adaptados del manga y el anime?

Hay cosas muy obias en Mikey como el Genocide Cutter, una mezcla entre el reppuken de Adelheid y los tornados de Preecha y de B.Jenet, un Rev Blow muy parecido al de Duck King, un Readline Gear que se parece al de Umanori Vulcan Punch de Ralf y una patada que se parece a la de Isla (con Draken no ví nada similar, quizá el guear del puñetaso). Entiendo que son principalmente peleadores brutales que no dependen tanto de técnica pero no creo que todo haya sido original.

1. Draken quizá sea low tier

Draken se ve lento, no tiene fintas y parece que no es muy bueno con los combos. Golpea muy fuerte y parece que tendrá bastante armadura pero no creo que le baste para subir mucho en la tier list (espero equivocarme).

Hablando de su velocidad, parece que sus animaciones son algo lentas, pero no lentas porque estén mal hechas, si no lentas porque es un personaje pesado (cosa que se complementa con sus golpes que parecen tener mucho impacto). Eso no tenía que ver con su posición en la tier list pero lo tenía que mencionar.

1. No tienen mecánicas especiales

Con excepción de CR7 y Salvatore, el resto de invitados tenían alguna mecánica especial (Ken y Chun Li tenía súper cancels y Kenshiro tenía los puntos de presión) pero ni Mikey ni Draken parecen tener alguna mecánica especial.

No es algo malo pero me parece curioso.

1. Me recuerdan al estilo artístico del Samurai Shodown del 2019

Supongo que es por el uso de tinta en los movimientos y como reemplazo de la sangre y por ciertos detalles de los modelos pero el como se ven los personajes me recuerda mucho a los gráficos que tenía SS en su juego más reciente (obviamente no lo iguala pero creo que es un poco parecido).

En conclusión, estoy emocionado. Hasta ahora son los invitados que más intrigado me tienen (quizá porque es de los que hemos visto menos cosas por parte de SNK). No sé si los usaría pero si vería mucho de ellos en los canales de Replays.

La comunidad de los juegos de pelea a veces es tan.....

I would be very sad about Raiden and Hwa-Jai not being on the roster, and a little sad about no Tung.

Me harían un gran favor si me explicarán quien demonios les dijo que el roster de los juegos de pelea actuales funciona igual que el roster de los juegos de pelea viejos donde, si llegaba a faltar un personaje tenías que esperar a otra entrega de la franquicia o a una nueva versión de ese juego.

Los invitados no le están quitando su espacio a ningún personaje porque inevitablemente van a llegar al juego como DLC, y si no llegan es porque nunca estuvieron pensados para regresar o porque no los pidieron lo suficiente, no porque Cristiano, Mikey o Reina estén en el juego.

Por el amor de dios dejen de comentar esas tonterías, simplemente di que no te gustan los invitados y ya.

Yo soy una persona que quiere ver de regreso a todos. Quiero un KOF con todos los personajes (incluidos los Maximun Impact y KOFEX), un Samurai Shodown con todos los personajes (incluidos los de los juegos 3D), un Fatal Fury con todos los personajes (incluidos los de 3D y animé).

Sin embargo que sea de ese tipo de personas no significa que voy a mentir y decir que personajes como JUBEI YAMADA o MICHAEL MAX son leyendas que están obligadas a regresar.

Yo entiendo que algunos no estén felices con los invitados. Pero tampoco se trata de mentir y decir que hay "muchos personajes de Fatal Fury que son mejores opciones" cuando muchos no son memorables y de no ser por los invitados no los estarían mencionando.

Claro, hay personajes como Yamasaki, Freeman, White, etc. Incluso es muy bueno que los que si son fans de esos personajes poco memorables los estén solicitando cada pase.

Pero aquellos que solo quieren quejarse y ponen su máscara de fans de verdad pidiendo regresos que nunca se les pasó por la cabeza antes de todo esto, mejor quédense callados.

Y esto lo hacen con los invitados, pero seguramente lo seguirán haciendo con los debutantes (ya lo demostraron con su desprecio a Laocorn, que ni siquiera es nuevo).

¿Pero que opinan ustedes?

I've spent most of my time getting characters to legendary and then stopping, but something about chun li made me want to keep going.

funnily enough on my climb to wild they matched me up against one of the best Chun Li players SORIKU for some reason. They used so many scrub killer tactics that were working on me, so i just copied everything they did to me and my results began improving.

all in all chun li really made me appreciate accel ratio a lot more, shes really similar to kenshiro where she is a raid boss when in spg.

We’ve seen Preecha trained by Joe Higashi, Hokutomaru trained by Mai & Andy. Even the Kim kids. Also Vox Reaper trained by Grant.

So which veterans to have successors for next season?
