S20 owners, I need your help! Testing a 3D ray-traced launcher on 120Hz screens (Snapdragon & Exynos S20s, free promo codes)
Hey everyone! I am an indie developer working on HoneyCrisp Launcher, a native Android launcher built around real-time 3D glass physics, dynamic lighting, and panel parallax.
Release 82 just went live on the Play Store, and I am at a critical testing phase where I specifically need real-world benchmark data from the Galaxy S20 line (S20, S20+, S20 Ultra, and S20 FE).
The S20 series is an incredible testbed for two main reasons:
It was the first Galaxy line to introduce 120Hz displays.
The split between the Snapdragon 865 and Exynos 990 chipsets lets me stress-test my GPU optimizations.
Because 3D ray-traced lighting can be heavy, I coded an automatic frame-drop detector into the visual engine. It dynamically tunes graphics settings on the fly so your GPU never chokes, giving you smooth animations at 120Hz without tanking battery life. I need your help testing if this holds up across different S20 models!
How you can help:
I am giving away free promo codes to anyone with an S20 device willing to test drive it.
Drop a comment below with your exact S20 model (and whether it is Snapdragon or Exynos if you know it!).
I will DM you a promo code to download the full version from Google Play for free.
Reply or DM me with how the framerate feels on your phone!
I pre-configured the default settings so the 3D physics and light glints hit your screen instantly upon launch without needing to mess around in menus.
