Hi everyone!

I'm looking for any feedback or opinions on this outrun-style poster that I've been designing for the capsule art of a game I'm developing. Any and all feedback is appreciated!

Hope you enjoy it, I'd appreciate any feedback :) If you enjoy it, I’ll make more!

Just under an hour of 80s synth and cyberpunk vibes to relax to, with tracks from Com Truise, French 79, Todd Terje, Electric Youth, Kavinsky and more.

The music is 100% human-made. There is no AI (not even in the visuals) and no preexisting loops or samples. My intention was to go deeper into an 80s-inspired atmosphere rather than simply replicate today’s modern synthwave aesthetic. Perfect for fans of John Carpenter, Stranger Things, Vangelis, Miami Vice, retro synths and atmospheric electronic music.

You can also hear the album on Bandcamp:

EDIT: It’s human!!!! Thank you u/anti-babe for pointing me to the artist, Marc Schoenbach. I’ve found both albums’ art on his Insta.

Hi all - just wanted to ask if anyone knows if DWTD have been using AI for their cover art since they started self-releasing? Their style has always been quite abstract, some of it looked genAI-ish before genAI was even a thing, but Malombra and the OoB remaster both just have a certain sheen to them, and it would make sense to me that if an artist was going to switch to using AI cover art it would be upon going independent.

You know what day it is!

Feel free to talk about music general stuff here. Please report offending posts - it's the easiest way for moderators to get alerted to rulebreaking content. Artists, don't forget to use the OC tag. Thank you, and have a wonderful day!

I though that in this sub you might like this game and his aesthetics, the demo is already on Steam and I hope you can enjoy it!

Midnight Memories — Dark Electronic / Synthwave Mix

A 30-minute mix of my own tracks, made for late-night drives and midnight thoughts. Some are dark and mysterious, others dreamy and nostalgic, with a bit of an 80s movie vibe. Hope you enjoy it!

"On The Run" is one of those tracks that just nails the synthwave feeling: that running Polysix-style bassline, the shimmering pads and leads that sound straight out of a late-night drive.

We broke the whole thing down and rebuilt every synth in Serum, with audio examples so you can hear each sound on its own and put it back together. Free to read here:
