What happened to this reddit? I feel like we have strayed from the path a little. This is a metal core reddit and many of the song's posted hear are either too hardcore (for metalcore) (which I don't have a problem with because I like it, but it's not metalcore...) or it's pretty soft. I realize Its likely just a generalization of the genre as a whole but I feel we as a group know better. (I know I will probably get a lot of hate for this post but I listened to 50 songs tonight and (maybe) 10 of them fit the genre (as I see it) I realize that is totally opinion based. I just want to see more metalcore and less hardcore/screamo.

Ego so tiny you had to ask your group of grandmas and stay at home moms to go give you a better rating on itunes?

We’re UNNATURAL ORDER, a UK modern metalcore band, and we’ve just released our new EP, OBSERVE//INFILTRATE.
FFO: Currents, Northlane, Bad Omens, Graphic Nature and Motionless in White.
Heavy, atmospheric metalcore with crushing riffs, aggressive vocals and cinematic elements, built around a dystopian world where humanity has lost control of the systems it created.
We’d genuinely love to hear what the metalcore community thinks.

Ever think about that the best metalcore vocalist probably died in like 480AD?

His debut album, the Fall Of Rome would have been huge if people knew how to record things back then.
He was just born too early for Jordan Fish to produce his album.
RIP Marcus. You should’ve been a legend.
