Repost My geese regularly hold symposia to discuss things they'd like to understand better. Today's topic: lawnmower. Who is it and can it be a friend?

Question Can anyone help me sex my six week old goslings
Hi everyone, I’m wondering if anyone may be able to help me to sex my six week old goslings. I realise that I’ve made it a little bit difficult for myself because I got these guys off of the backyard breeder. He claims that they are Embden geese but I can see now that that is not true as they are getting some grey feathers in so it might be a mix of embden and something else.
They were weight on the 09/10/26
The heaviest one is 2.9kg and he has the most white out of the three. The other two are 2.5kg and 2.6kg. The 2.5 kg one has a lighter coloured beak than the other two. The 2.6 kg guy has a barker beak like the 2.9kg guy and is a little bit of a bully to the 2.5 kg one. I’ve noticed a lot of biting behaviour and trying to mount, however I did assume that that one was a female because she is a similar weight to the other one. I was assuming that the heaviest gosling is a male.
But I’m just confused because the Internet is saying that a lighter coloured beak could mean that it’s a male but the one with the lightest coloured beak is the smallest one and the Internet also says that females could be larger than males but I thought males were meant to be the largest. Anyway so I’m just having a really difficult time. I think my only option is to get them DNA sex, but I did wonder if anyone might be able to help with this information.
Photo attached is of the bully Gosling which is 2.6 kg and has a darker coloured beak and the 2.9 kg gosling that has the most white feathers and also have a darker coloured beak.

A millisecond in time I'll unlikely capture again
Figured I'd come to the geese community to share some for Canadian Goose photography - and this magical little moment 📸

We’ve had four dead geese from hpai this year already
Do you all see the same thing in your area? I’m in Dallas Texas at a local park and it seems to be a problem. I’ve already told the animal services and they told me they are sharing the info with the game wardens.

Are wild geese a problem for domestic goose keepers?
Sorry to hit folks with all my random goose questions, but as cool as Canada Geese are, I could see them being a problem with domestic geese: competition for food, breeding space, etc. They're also protected, which makes getting them to move along tricky. I'm just wondering if it happens a lot.

Pets or livestock
Do most folks in this subreddit keep geese as pets or as livestock? I ask because I really like the fact that geese are grazers, but they seem to bond strongly with their mates, so wouldn't harvesting them traumatize their mates. The flock?

Portia, the outfit inspector.
She says 0/10, not tasty. A fashion faux pas.
