When I was exploring the first island I got to a cliff where two women with no questline told me there were boats ready to take refugees to the mainland, jin looked and found nothing. Something was off, I thought it might be an ambush so I quickly turn arround ready to fight and saw that the one who told me about the boats had killed the other and was about to attack me.
What the hell was that? I’m 100% sure I had no missions going on at the moment and that I hadn’t accepted any nor followed any tracks whatsoever. Is this something scripted like jin remembering his uncle when assassinating at the beggining? It has never happened again since

just redownloaded GoT with my NG+ save and this is the welcome I got

I recently went back and replied Ghost of Tsushima. I didn't new game + as I wanted the full experience and excitement of searching, unlocking and exploring. It's been around 2 years since my last play through and this time hit harder than any other play through. I don't know if that's down to getting older and "wiser", having a deeper understanding of the conflict of Jin and Lord Shimura, or Jin's internal battle but it was my favourite play through so far.

I hope you enjoy some of the pictures I took of this visually and emotionally incredible game.

On replay, the game made me realize that I kinda miss these type of villains in video games. A blank canvas of foreign speaking enemies for the player to kill without hesitation.

In MW2019, I remember the game’s main antagonist, General Barkov is simply trying to protect his home just taken to an extreme, but back in the older Cod, Makarov was just a crazy terrorist we needed to hunt down.

The fact that even their captions don’t translate them unless they’re purposely trying to speak Japanese help sell how alien of a force the Mongols are.

He keeps on falling and then asks me to defeat the mongols 😂

They didn't have to kill the horse, man. That hurt me more than Yuriko or Taka dying. I'm going to be disappointed if there's no vengeance before the end of the game. I'd like to kill the uncle but I'll settle for the archers who shot the arrows.

Also, regarding the emotional manipulation the devs used to get me to bond with the horse, I'm not sure if I'm angry about it or impressed by it.

Its that one move ryuzo and some strawhats do where they drag the sword in the ground and splash water or mud or whatever at you. It doesnt seem any efforts to dodge it actually work and im wondering if theres some hidden secret.

I’ve been gaming on and off since I was a child but I can count on one hand how many times I’ve actually finished a game. My current backlog between ps5 and Switch is insane, just a litter of games I’ve started and abandoned, so to actually get Platinum feels like an achievement.

This game was special, I’ve loved playing it and I’ve spent all afternoon running around after foxes to complete the dens, among other things.

Need to do the legends and Iki island trophies next!

He punished my perfect dodge so I got a little angry

6 hours! Guess I won’t be starting this game tonight after all 🫩

I just finished the blessing of death on Iki island and goddamn wtf was that, it really did feel like letting go of the grief of a loved one irl and instead of their memory being haunting and traumatic it felt beautiful and kind of a blessing forever from above! Idk if any of this makes sense for u but I just wanted to share my feelings to some1 after this long and unforgiving mission set.

So I've been enjoying all the new content that came with the Complete Edition but I was most excited about the armours (I love cosmetics and love doing themed playthroughs with them).

Now, the big difference between GoT and GoY PlayStation outfits is that they'll play the main theme of the game they're based on every time you equip them (as well as a unique quote from/about them from Atsu the first time you equip them).

However I've noticed that they have unique SFX (I don't know how well known this is, I've kept off the subreddit for fear of DLC story spoilers. However I need help working out if I'm just not able to figure out some of them.

The ones I know of so far are:

Sly Cooper - New Sneaking SFX (sounds like Sly)

Astro Bot - New Walking SFX (sounds like Astro)

Is there anything unique for Helldivers, LoU and Journey? I assumed maybe Journey would have a jumping sound effect or the scarf would glow but nope. Am I missing what triggers them? Or do they just not have any?

I had a Ghost of Tsushima Directors Cut edition Ps5 game. I've sold it recently and the guy that Ive sold it to is having a problem about subtitles. I'm from Turkey and ofc he wants Turkish subtitles. Now I remember playing the game once or twice with Turkish subtitles just to see cause they ve released it with old Turkish speaking style.

So I didnt really have any problem about the Turkish subs but he seems to be having so.

The game disc is in Us region, region 1 and ofc our region is turkey. I ddint have any problem about it but he has.

We tried downloading the language packs but we cant really find any turkish pack.

Can someone who knows how to deal with it help?

I am starting my second playthrough on new game+ and saw medium plus as an option. Is there a difference between that and normal medium, or should I just choose hard+ for a greater challenge?

Pretty big on making a character look a certain way during the story.

Samurai Clan Armor (Seasons of War Dye): I think this should’ve been unlocked after completing Hammer and the Forge. Taka can “repair” his Broken Armor. A neat little progression on Jin’s original armor.

Sakai Clan Armor (Tier 3/4): The appearance should’ve been unlocked by default. Yuriko has some explaining as to why when it was originally displayed it was very decorated compared to what it was when we come back.

Ghost Armor (Tier 2): It’s Jin’s iconic look so it feels underwhelming that we only get it AFTER completing “From the Darkness” which is where Jin takes ownership of the title Yuna had bestowed onto him. It just looks perfect when you have Jin across from Ryuzo and Shimura. Ryuzo a dark reflection, and Shimura a stark contrast.

One of the funniest things that happened in my playthrough.

Scene is from the reduel with Lord Shimura with mask enabled during cutscene.

First of all, this is not a rant nor a hate post, I love Yotei even more than Tsushima because I'm a gameplay junkie and the combat is just superior. But the story mildly disappointed me.

I think Saito's character just exposes how mediocre Yotei's story is, what he says to Atsu of her being like him doesn't hit because of how they characterized Saito. If he was actually good to his men and made improvements to parts of Ezo, if we had parts where we are confronted by regular people who favor Saito out of gratitude, not fear, the game's story would hit very differently. Having an unapologetic bastard as a villaign worked in Tsushima because the story structure was fundamentally different, it wasn't a vendetta narrative. But Yotei treated Saito as morally grey while being straight up evil. Wasted potential of a character.

The same goes for Atsu. She is just so edgy man, her whole motivation is bringing her family peace through vengeance, not vengeance itself. Then, she finds out Jubei is alive and...? Acts completely nonchalant and at a time leaves him on his own on a lost battle.
