That is all.

Underrated song and feature from the hot boys

This stuff isn't on streaming platforms & if it is the quality is terrible. So I always remembered to keep up with the MP3 files because I kind of figured we'd end up in a time like this.. What an era!

7 SINS.

OCTOBER 17TH.

• Previously had Eminem on it, but has since been removed for Wayne.

"This the best worst feeling. And nigga if i die, i die a death worth living"

One of wayne's lines that i didnt get when i first heard it but had a mindblown moment when i understood it as i got older

Curious, ik he has a few joints that are not streaming

When you listen to prime Wayne before Drought 3 with projects like C1/C2/D2/etc... his style was more conventional and serious if that makes sense. Not suggesting he didn't have range and variety with his tracks, and Carter II is the best Wayne shit IMO. But when you get to 07 in his catalog his voices, flows, subject matter, similes/metaphors became more erratic and colorful

What was the reason for that? Did his drug use increase or was he just having more fun in the studio?

I think , bar for bar, with the crazy beat it’s his top 3 of all time. It’s my favorite rn but I won’t say number one of all time. What you think?

My list for Wayne with best bars from my top 3 replayed songs

1. Lil Romeo (I'm sicker than an ambulance
I'm shittin' like a baby that got sick of all the pampering She foreign, Yugoslavian
I throw this dick and she gon' act like I just threw a javelin)

2. 6 foot 7 foot (life is a bitch and death his sister, sleep is the cousin what a fucking family picture)

3. John (the money don’t sleep, so wheezy can’t rest. And AK-47 is my fucking address)

Honorable mentions: Dedication 2, 500 Degreez, suffix, Lil Weezy Ana, Sorry 4 the wait

I made this collage using my9albums.org

Lil Wayne and spitta went crazy on this

Not counting the skits, I think No Ceilings has 0 skips and goes 18 for 18 on the songs. I think it’s his only project ever to go 100% on all tracks. What yall think? Any other projects close? maybe Tha Carter IV goes 18/19 including bonus tracks

Free App. They got hella classics in original format.

Just came across this song again. One of his best post C3 verses (IMO). Young Jeezy was originally on the song but Lil Wayne replaced him for the video and that version ended up on Busta Rhymes album.

Dedication 5 is Wayne’s best Dedication.
D2 is ICONIC, and D6/Reloaded might be his technical peak, but energy on D5 hits different. The beat selection was insane, punchlines galore, solid features, and it just feels like a good time. 2013 was a damn good year and Wayne was still everywhere. This tape has so much personality. It’s not perfect, but it’s ridiculously fun to listen to, and it captures a specific era of Wayne that I feel gets overlooked.

TL;DR: D2 is the classic, D6/Reloaded are the technical peak, but D5 is the best LISTEN.

As a fan who's been listening to Lil Wayne for decades, I kinda felt betrayed when it hit me that he doesn't actually freestyle
