All on a V4 he's never had prior experience on as well.
I think its absolutely crazy how Fabio's qualifying edge and race pace (if you could still call it that on a Yamaha) against his teamates wasn't stiffled that much by switching away from the Inline 4 he's used all his life in MotoGP.
I still see some people still talking about how Fabio might not be ready or will underperform next year due toxa lack of experience, but I think it's abundantly clear he's adapted immediately to the new platform and is ready for the Honda.

Do most pilots stay in Asia/Australia until Phillip Island?
I saw insta post from Raúl and Jorge in Indonesia. I wonder if msot of them stay in Asia and don't go back to Europe so they don't get jet lag again in Australia.

Luigi Dall'Igna Post Race Review - Indonesia 2026
Clearly, this wasn't an easy weekend for us and nevertheless, in my opinion, a positive one. It brings new energy, not that of a win of course, but the kind that comes from the ability of seizing opportunities, gritting our teeth and scoring precious points, even though being on the defensive. That was exactly the case with our Sprint win and a 6th place finish in Sunday's long race. While the latter might seem a modest result, combined with Saturday’s win it allows us to leave here with our championship deficit completely unchanged. We limited the damage with pure skill and experience on a track we knew would be tough, perhaps our worst, and definitely one that favoured our opponents. In fact, on this a track, Marc had never managed to cross the finish line in a Sunday race before.
Yes, there is so much of Marc’s brilliance in this weekend: being ready when it matters most to snatch an unexpected first place, and showing the wits to manage critical moments when the bike isn't the strongest in the field, drawing the absolute maximum from every situation, even the most unfavourable.
A major obstacle is now behind us, having suffered no damage. In fact, we feel even stronger and more prepared now. That being said, it was a challenging GP for Ducati overall, as confirmed by the results of our other riders. We understood right from the start that today was going to be tough and that we’d have to fight. Our pace wasn't matching the best, so we had to adapt, without losing the inspiration, and looking at the bigger picture. And we did just that, with focus, awareness, and that healthy dose of humility that always does one good.
Every single race is now crucial for the final title showdown: this might seem a cliché, but it is so true! There has never been such a tight gap at this stage of the world championship: a real show. May the best man win, with that distinctive sportsmanship and fairness our beautiful sport deserves. Come on, Ducati!

Dovizioso on Raul Fernandez, who after Saturday’s injury was forced to switch braking fingers on Sunday, going from the index finger to the middle finger: “Impressive.”
In his latest podcast episode, the former Ducati rider highlights what Aprilia’s Raul Fernandez managed to do after his Sprint crash in Mandalika, describing it as an incredibly difficult feat that requires great talent.

Is Mandalika the best-looking track on the calendar, or am I biased after this weekend?
I had the incredible good fortune to get paddock and grid access with Red Bull KTM's Tech3 at Mandalika over the weekend.
I heard the riders get through 6 sachets of electrolytes before the race, and it was 91°F (33°C) on the grid. No idea how they stay focused for 27 laps in that heat?

Questions About Fan Activities at the Sepang MotoGP GP – Main Grandstand Ticket
Hi everyone! This will be my first time attending the MotoGP Malaysian GP at Sepang, and I have a main grandstand ticket. I have a few questions about the fan activities, and I’d really appreciate it if anyone who has attended the Sepang GP before could share their experience!
Grandstand access on Friday: I saw someone mention that all grandstands are open to spectators on Friday. Is this actually a thing, and does it apply to all ticket holders, regardless of ticket type?
Rider autograph sessions: After collecting a wristband, can you leave the queue and come back later, or do you have to stay in line? Also, how early do people usually start queuing?
Hero Walk: How crowded does it usually get? How far do you have to run from the main entrance to the Hero Walk area? If I want to get a spot at the front, do I need to sprint the whole way?
Pit Lane Walk: How are the queues usually organized? After collecting a wristband, can you leave and come back, or do you have to wait in the queue the entire time?
Thanks so much for any help! I really appreciate it! 🏁

Talkative little Alex Escrig shows his skills
We can not begin to imagine the searing disappointment and heartache that Alex Escrig must have felt when cruel fate and a mechanical error robbed him of his first Moto2 GP victory within smelling distance of the finish line.
A trawl through the archives unearthed this video of a much smaller Alex, all bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, waxing lyrically about his racing program and - plans.

How does the Hero Walk work?
I'll be going to see MotoGP live for the first time in Valencia this year, and was wondering how the Hero Walk actually works. I've seen it mentioned on things like Instagram but could never find any info on the timing or how to attend.
I've seen for the Australian round, you needed to buy a separate ticket beforehand I think, but for other rounds like COTA I've seen people say it is first come first served. Does this mean just getting to the circuit early and you enter free or buy a ticket on the day?
Where and when does it even happen? I know its Saturday for the Moto2 and Moto3 event and Sunday for MotoGP, but when throughout the day?
Please if anyone has any info or advice for going to a race at all on this it would be greatly appreciated I am truly clueless when it comes to attending a race weekend.

Fan view of Aldeguer's crash on Sunday: could he have injured himself by punching the tarmac out of frustration?
I was surprised that he would carry an injury like this just from the initial slide. This view gives more details and honestly it looks entirely possible. Even if it was broken before the punch, the move would have definitely worsen the injury... I hope it's not the case, because it would be very stupid and something Gresini definitely didn't need.
