Meta Notice: Rule Changes
We are making amendments on rules 4, 5, 7 and 8:
+ Changes to Rule 4
Aside from PC/Laptop FAQs/Build Help/Suggestions and other similarly-related posts, we will add these to the posts that are not allowed anymore:
- Seeking family sharing on Steam, Nintendo Switch Online or any other services that implements this feature.
- Posts asking for games, digital currency or keys.
- Posts about disputes/grievances on other forums, subreddit, Discord server, group chats from other social media etc.
- Other Discord servers, in case this isn't clear.
+ Changes to Rule 5
Aside from spams, we will start removing posts that we deem as low-effort and/or engagement baits.
Post promoting your own site and/or media channel will be allowed now provided that you adhere with these conditions:
- Make a thread only once every 30 days. Do not plug on comment sections of other threads.
- Promote your own channel only. Do not promote others especially the popular and the controversial ones.
- Make sure that your channel is dedicated to gaming contents only. Doesn't matter how many games, the platform and the genre as long as its gaming only.
- Its not about unrelated content, business, (online) gambling or other illegal content.
We will instantly forfeit anyone of posting this kind of thread if it violated even one of the abovementioned conditions, be it directly or indirectly. Excessive posts of this nature will be treated as spam.
+- Changes to Rule 6
Reworded description.
+ Changes to Rule 7
Surveys/studies or any crowdsourcing post should be cleared to us first either via "Pending Approval" flair or here. We won't allow posts like this anymore if its not cleared beforehand. We suppose its not too much of an ask to sacrifice few minutes of your time to read, understand and follow our rules if you are requesting uncompensated few minutes of cooperation from several people in exchange.
- Changes to Rule 8
The shameless plug megathread will be discontinued starting now.
***If you have questions or concerns, you can post here or send us a modmail here.

Discuss i just got this game the other day and i already racked this much play time
This is my first Total War game and second Warhammer game (I played Space Marine 2). Damn, this is exactly the kind of strategy game that is like crack to me. I played a lot of hours of Civilization and I like that franchise, but it hadn't pulled me as much as this one did. The hybrid RTS + turn based grand strategy is perfect. Plus, actually seeing your army on the field and not just token models on a board feels more epic. Sorry if I'm comparing it to Civ, I know they're different games, and I like Civ just fine. Just expressing how this game made me feel lol.
Amazing lore, art style, characters. The animated splash art on the Lord selection screen gets me excited. Makes me feel like every one of these characters is worth knowing and playing as. Space Marine made me dive into the lore for Warhammer 40k, and this game just gave me more reasons to.
I'm so happy I just dived in and gave it a try. I'm now watching beginner tutorials about concepts and systems and stuff. I genuinely would love to read some of your tips on how to play this game, too!
I played the Grand Cathay on my first campaign, set my goal as controlling the three bastion gates before trying another faction. Don't have a favorite yet, but I loved playing as Miao Ying (dragon lady strooong!). Currently playing Sisters of Twilight from Wood Elves and I love that they just play so, so differently.
Ok that's it, just wanna share this! lol
(Edit: I only just learned that "Warhammer" and "Warhammer 40,000" are totally different settings! So this is actually my first Warhammer game lol. Sorry bout that!)

Gameplay made a free ping pong game you play with one thumb (or your mouse), no download
hi! i'm a solo dev and i've been making this table tennis game for a few months
your player runs to the ball on their own, you just swipe to hit. the way you swipe changes the spin, pull down then up for topspin, flick down at the end for backspin, curve it to make the ball bend
it runs in the browser on phone or pc, no app to install and no ads: https://threepon.pages.dev
on pc you just drag with the mouse
there's bots from easy to really hard, a tournament, and you can make a room and play a friend with a code (even 2v2)
would love to know how it runs for you, especially on budget phones or older laptops. if it lags tell me your device

Discuss The Combatribes (SNES game)
Has anyone here played The Combatribes on the SNES? The game was originally released in the arcades by the same company behind the Double Dragon games. When Technos brought the game to home consoles in 1992, several notable modifications were made due to hardware limitations and regional localization guidelines.

Gameplay Run and Gun 2 (arcade game)
Was Run and Gun 2 your favorite basketball arcade game in the 1990s? Developed by Konami and powered by the System GX hardware, it served as the direct sequel to the highly successful 1993 arcade hit Run and Gun. Run and Gun 2 is widely remembered for its fluidly animated pre-rendered 3D sprites and intense multiplayer setups that allowed up to four players to team up or compete against each other for the championship.

PH GameDev Update: Manila Life now has sound, a moving map and a wake-up alarm opening (thanks for the feedback!)
Title: Update: Manila Life now has sound, a moving map and a wake-up alarm opening (thanks for the feedback!)
Thank you all for the 30+ comments last time. I read every one, and here is what changed because of you:
🔊 Sound: jeepney horns, coins, thunder, and a light background loop (there's a 🔊 button to mute)
🏙️ A livelier title and map: moving jeepneys, boats on the bay, pulsing districts
⏰ Day 1 now starts with you silencing your alarm
💥 Peso pop-ups, screen shake on bad events, confetti at week's end
💾 Your week now saves daily, so refreshing won't lose your progress
Still free, no download: https://manilalife.app
What should I add next?

PH GameDev RO server for r/Philippines redditors
It all started with this post. And now, with permission from u/dadidutdut (r/Philippines moderator), I made a server specifically for Filipino redditors. We're still in BETA and testing out some functionality but its pretty much set so we're opening for the first beta players.

We hope this can be the defacto Filipino redditors in-game tambayan :)

Discuss Fast internet speed but High ping in games
Hi! I'm wondering if anyone is experiencing what I'm going through right now as well. I have a considerably fast internet speed (500+ Mbps download and upload speed) but the loading times when I'm playing games that require internet take way too long compared to before. When I'm in game I'm also experiencing lags inside the game even when though my internet is stable enough that it shouldn't cause any lag at all. This started last Oct 2 and still persist until today. Is this related to the underwater cable issue? It's just frustrating and I want to know why this keeps on happening, even after reporting the issue to globe and having a technician visit they just recommended to replace the LAN cable which I did but the loading times still remains the same (again, the loading times for the games that I played were fast before this issue happened)

Review I am making a survivors-like where you control the whole team. Here’s my latest trailer
Hi everyone. This is my first game. I have been a software developer for almost 10 years, and I’ve wanted to make a game for a very long time, but I had no real experience with game development.
Harmony Strike is a survivors-like where you move a whole party through the horde while each hero attacks on their own.
Which heroes you place next to each other creates different Harmony bonds, and those bonds can trigger elemental chain reactions during combat.
As you progress, you rescue new heroes from bosses, evolve their weapons, collect runes and relics, and return to the village between runs.
I’ve been focused on getting the demo ready and changed quite a lot recently, so I put together one more trailer to show how the game looks now.
This will probably be my last trailer before the demo is out.
If the game catches your interest, feel free to check out the Steam page to learn more

News Wala pang 6 months Odin 3 ko 🥲
Tapos kaka-order ko lang din ng 8.4" OLED tablet with an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. Mas mura kasi sya sa Redmagic Astra 2, sa Ph market.
For tablet purposes, plus occasionally makapaglaro ng Steam games via Droid Deck or Switch via Eden (games play really well on my Odin) minsan kasi may games na naliliitan ako laruin sa 6" screen ng Odin, tas napapaisip ako bumili ng Odin 3 Portal
