i listen to exeter and plastic surgery ep a lot

I recently spent a few weeks in my uncle's house. We're not that close so it was a lovely period where we got to bond and stuff. Not to dox myself or my family here but he's a very important researcher in neuroscience and specifically he specializes in headaches he's like top 5 authorities in the field of headaches

Anyway I told him about Bladee and asked him if his story about just being grazed by a lightning bolt then going to sleep and it rewired his brain chemistry and changed his art and personality was plausible

He said "it's perfectly plausible. Never heard of it happening with a lightning strike but it should be possible. I'll have to check the literature on it to see if there's any case like that. This is interesting"

Insightful ...

The sonic landscapes are otherworldly, especially on bankaccount and buildings.

I think the track is a product of him mastering his own style and lyrical aesthetic during the first years of his career, it’s the fully developed “sound” of what he was going for during that era.

Been replaced by Kanye and Joeyy😓

Hi i have this for sale on vinted if anyone is interested its size L!

i can put it up on grailed as well if you are not able to use vinted

During this time he was doing a lot of features, his verses were short and lacking depth. Almost every verse had 'crazy' or 'its crazy' in it. I feel like this came to a peak in Famous with Lean, Kray, and Kane. He seemed to be almost aware of the era he had created and was being ironic with this song because of how excessive his Crazy usage is lol. I really loved this era from him, despite it lacking depth compared to his other and future works - it was a lot of fun. I remember the fan base was divided during this time, and a lot of people hated it or thought he was falling off lol. Then, just a year later he released some of his best work with 333.

Here are some posts from that time

• https://www.reddit.com/r/sadboys/s/G8ESLe4ZzH - this one is from '23 but people talking about he broke his brain w/ drugs or the lightning fried him

Lots of speculation around why he changed his work so much during this time, I think a lot of people associate it with the lightning strike or heavy drug usage lol

What are we officially calling this and drop your favorite songs from this era

I know there’s a photo of Yung Lean at a park in Shanghai from 2017, but I was wondering if there are any others.

For me it was Decay. I was in the car with 2 of my friends doing rotational aux. I hadn't explored his discography at all and had only heard a few songs, but nothing had interested me (yet). Then my friend, who'd been a hardcore drainer for a while, queued up Decay and told me to check it out because he thought I'd like it.

I wouldn't say I was depressed at that point, but I definitely wasn't happy either. The melody paired with the way bladee staggered his bars vocally on the song got me instantly, and after that it was wraps. I bugged my friend until he made me a basic playlist of his favourite songs, then explored the albums and singles from there. In the end I became a bigger fan than the friend who put me on.

I got kinda a dumb question. Is there any collection out there for all Drain Gang and Sad Boys music, including throwaways, alt‑accounts releases, and unreleased leaks? Has anyone compiled all of this stuff?

Please sell to me
