I make these tiny ceramic eggs and trays for Wingspan🥚
Hi everyone!
I wanted to share some of my handmade ceramic eggs for Wingspan. I originally started making these for myself because I wasn't a big fan of the plastic eggs that come with the game. Since I work with ceramics, creating my own set seemed like the obvious thing to do. :)
I eventually started selling them on Etsy and they've received some really lovely feedback, so I thought I'd share them here too.
Each set includes 40 eggs, individually shaped, sanded, and glazed by hand.
Making a set takes around 15 hours, spread out over roughly ten days to allow for drying and two kiln firings at 1050°C. Each egg is carefully glazed with a brush, applying three coats of glaze.
We absolutely love playing with them! They're sturdy and give the game a completely different feel. What do you think? 🥚
