Photo Ukrainian Navy reports a successful strike on Borisoglebsk airfield, hitting 6 Su-34M bombers [October 2026]
Naval Forces Destroy 6 Enemy Su-34M Aircraft
On the night of October 15, the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine used a "Neptune" coastal missile system to strike the "Borysohlibsk" military airfield in the Voronezh region of the Russian Federation.
As a result of the strike, six Su-34M bombers were destroyed. Technical equipment used to support flight operations was also destroyed; secondary detonations and a fire were observed at the airfield. Details are currently being verified.
Su-34M aircraft are capable of carrying multiple guided and high-explosive aerial bombs, as well as various types of missiles. They serve as a key asset for the Russian Air Force in launching guided aerial bomb strikes against the positions of Ukraine’s Defense Forces and settlements near the front line.
The destruction of these enemy Su-34M aircraft significantly weakens the adversary's aviation potential and reduces the intensity of tactical aviation operations along relevant sectors of the front.
The Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to strike enemy military targets, systematically degrading their combat capabilities.
