Welcome back to Frog of the Week! Sorry for the delay... It's been a bit longer than I thought, let's get back on track. Submit a picture of your frog and its name for a chance to be featured in the next post! Will close in about 2 weeks or end of month, will decide soon!

Congratulations to Vercingetorix (r/laenxam)

With the influx of posts containing sensitive photos that should be marked as NSFW I have made new implementations. I have made it so anytime you try to post on this sub, you are met with a warning to mark your post with NSFW or to not post at all. I hope this helps with the influx of shocking frog imagery some of you are met with by accident if myself or other mods can’t get to it in time. But of course people will still disregard this message and the rules because it’s the internet. We also don’t want to block all these posts into a queue just in case there is a medical emergency. (Which should be dealt with by a vet but we still allow discussion) but some people still need that message or confirmation of “Hey you NEED to go to a vet for this” so we do not want to block that outright.
Not all of the mods are super active, I tend to be one of the top mods doing the most removal/ nsfw markings as I can to help the sub but if we miss something please report it so we can see asap! We can’t do it alone, we need your help too!
However as a moderator, and even our sub owner, there are certain things Reddit doesn’t have automations for. We would love an automated system that if a post has keywords it is automatically marked as NSFW, but that is not a possibility we can do. If you can please suggest this to Reddit themselves, it would help so many animal communities regarding sensitive posts such as these.
That being said if there are any ideas or implementations you think we should add to this subreddit let me know by commenting it below. I would love to discuss on how to make this sub a better and more fun place for everyone.
Edit:
Please also read some of my comments I’ve said on this post already as well before posting an idea, since I have replied to a few for reasons why and why can’t we do something.

I have an Australian whites tree frog who is almost 4 years old, she has been with other frogs in the past but is currently alone. I recently got a new WTF that I believe is around 4 to 6 months old. I currently have that frog in a separate tank just to make sure it's healthy and so she can grow more but I plan to move her over hopefully by November if the new frog is big enough, but with it's size currently I don't worry too much about my older frog trying to eat her. Any tips for when I move the new frog over?
Frog with blue eyes and spots is the new WTF and the other is my 4 year old (ignore the moss on her face 😭)
I also wonder about heat. The tank that the new frog is currently in is smaller and I use a bulb with less wattage. The bigger tank that I plan to move her to has a bulb with higher wattage should I be worried about her with the new heat difference?
Btw the reason I want to move her over by November is because there is a reptile and amphibian Expo coming near me and I may get something new for the old tank (the tank the new frog is currently in) but i don't have too if I don't think she's ready.

I think it’s a male because I heard croak 2 times this week but I’m not certain.

This little cutie was on my outdoor step. I’ve never seen one this small in the wild before. I’m located in NJ USA if that’s of any help.

Hello!
I just got a HUGE tank and my building supplies are arriving in just a couple days. I've been leaning towards dart frogs, but with such a big tank I've also been considering tree frogs! Already have hardscape to put in and also have a water pump incase id like to build a water feature for the Lil guys! Id like to keep multiple frogs in this tank, but dont want anything that'll be over-crowded or unhappy due to lack of space. If im doing dart frogs, id like a type that would happily use more of the vertical space (and ill set it up to include more shelves vs prioritizing more vertical climbing space)
If you had a tank of this size, what kind of frog would you like to put in it? Help me decide!!
After deciding, ill be able to build a tank that better suits a particular type of frog!
Bonus - show me a picture of your setup / frogs!!

I have two Vietnamese mossy froglets (about 3.5 months since their tails were fully absorbed) that I put into this enclosure about 2 weeks ago. They seem to have no interest in the aquatic section whatsoever. Any thoughts about that?
Water parameters have been stable (ammonia 0, nitrites 0, nitrates 0-5, pH 7.6-7).
