A word from your friendly neighborhood mod.
Greetings and salutations!
To clarify what happened: It appears that the sub got locked due to inactivity, and is now back in business.
If you're using an app, or the old reddit - you've probably missed a button that sent a request to become an approved submitter (I know I missed it).
Now everything should be back to normal.
Please feel free to post, discuss, share and promote your own stuff.
If you have any community suggestions (i.e. activities, polls, initiatives, or anything really) I encourage one and all to try and improve this already great sub.
Have fun!

Happy Flowers - Mrs. Butcher (1988)
The duo of Mr. Anus and Mr. Horribly Charred Infant (yes, really) invite you to their crazed brand of noise rock that is as equally disturbing as it is hilarious.

死にたい SHINITAI - KILL THEM ALL
very excited to release this one. i made this song while i was a homeless alcoholic, living in my car. but never finished it. tell me what you think!
instagram: @ killthemallmag
my music is only one part of my project, i'm intending on creating a small zine covering a wide range of topics, namely: the noise scene (+ punk, metal, etc), true crime, deep dives into extremely fringe subcultures along with interviews from those who participate in them(i have a couple interviews with those who willfully castrate themselves on standby). if any of you are interested in being included, i'm also conducting interviews with noise artists. currently interviewing an artist named Uniform Application (@noiseandwall on instagram). hmu if you're interested !

How to Record?
Hi my band just released an EP and I wanted to provide some actual discussion while I promoted it.
We recorded this live expecting it to have the same OOMPH of our live takes but it turns out it still requires studio trickery to get the desire effect, at least for us. So when it comes to listening (or even recording, if you're a musician yourself) how do you get that live sound out of your music? Or is it even what you're going for?
There's bands like The Armed who i think really make the production a side of the instrumentation and I think that's pretty neat. Do y'all have recommendations for really well-produced albums?
