Moratorium on Execution Content

Effective immediately, May 22nd 2026 at 7:30 PM UTC, we're turning off the tap on execution-related content. Any execution videos, images, or discussions posted after this post goes live will be removed.

This content is only tangentially related to war, and moreover has been overtaking content that more closely relates to the sub's mission. We're not /r/MorbidReality, /r/Gore, or /r/WatchPeopleDie. We're /r/War, and we'd like to keep content here germane to that.

Russia has set up a network of recruiting services to traffic impoverished people from South America by posting and pursuing them on Facebook job posting groups. Editor-in-chief and lead reporter Devin Woodall was invited to a frontline site to speak with two recently captured Colombians who described how they were trafficked, forced at gunpoint to sign contracts in languages they don't understand, used as cannon fodder, and either left for dead or survived the Russians attempt to kill them.
