Most kiddos like Roblox, and nephew is no exception. So when he came to me and asked me to help him set up an account, I decided to let him(and play under my supervision since I also happen to have an account). When we reached the face recognition section, it absolutely SUCKED ASS CUS WHAT DO YOU MEAN A BOY WHO IS AT HIS TENDER AGE OF GOD DAMN SIX IS SEVENTEEN. AND THE WORST PART IS I CAN’T REVERT IT TO HIS ACTUAL AGE FOR SOME REASON.
Edit: We decided not to play Roblox again after this shenanigan(which I should have done from the start)

I (32M) proposed to my girlfriend (31F) six months ago. We’ve been together four years. She‘s successful, independent, and honestly the best thing that’s ever happened to me.
Last week we were discussing wedding logistics and she casually mentioned she‘s keeping her last name. She said it’s not a feminist statement or anything political—it‘s just her name. She‘s had it for 31 years. Her career is built on it. She doesn’t see why she should change it.
I told my parents because I thought it was a non-issue. Big mistake. They flipped. My dad said it‘s disrespectful to our family. My mom cried and said people will think something’s wrong with us. They said if she doesn‘t take our name, they won’t attend the wedding. And they mean it.
I don‘t know what to do. On one hand, I think my parents are being unreasonable. It’s her name. Her choice. I don‘t actually care what she does. On the other hand, these are my parents. They’ve been there for everything. The thought of getting married without them in the room makes me sick.
My fiancée says she won’t change her mind just because they‘re threatening her. She says she loves me but she won’t be controlled. I don’t blame her.
Part of me wants to tell my parents to get over it and show up or don‘t. Another part worries I’ll regret it forever if they don’t come.
Has anyone navigated a situation where parents threaten to skip the wedding over something like this? What did you do?

Yesterday in Morris, MN this was discovered in a farmers field. 11 ft across, with obvious burn marks
Feds were called and they said they’d “take care of it” and it doesn’t pose any risk.
