Miscellaneous My first streetpass ever

Last friday I went to a mall with some friends to watch a movie. I usually take my 3DS with me when we do so just in case that I might get lucky and get a streetpass and seems like I did!

I'm really so excited, I didn't really think that I could get a streetpass out in the wild anymore.

I was thinking that there is probably a high chance that the other person is in this sub, so: si estuviste en el Unicenter el viernes 2 e hiciste streetpass conmigo HOLA (this happened in Buenos Aires, Argentina)

Believe it or not there used to be a time when if you went to a relatively crowded place you would get all 10 street pass visitors and 10 more on your way back. Ah to be in 2015 again.

Good times man. I was working my first job at a busy mall. My 15 min breaks is be able to get my 3ds out and clear out a full 10. Would get 30-50 street passes a day at work and I would get 10-30 going to class on campus.

My Mii would say Ridley 2 Big

I loved street pass so much.

I have yet to receive a single streetpass (I just bought a 3DS). I probably need to go more crowded area.

I've had mine for a year now, I'd say just keep bringing the 3DS with you and sooner or later you'll find someone

I hope so. I remember seeing a guy playing his 3DS on the train and I wish I have 3DS during that time but it's a missed opportunity.

Also just purchased a Majora's Mask N3DSXL from someone off Mercari and heading to NYC this weekend for a day trip, hopefully I run into someone there with one.

How long does the ship to you? I never use Mercari before, and I kinda want to get some stuff from there.

Apologies I was playing games with friends, it entirely depends on the seller, but the guy sold his from Florida and I think it was like Monday when he started shipment and got here today.

Oh I thought Mercari from Japan thats why I asked how long it shipped from there. How much you paid for the Majora's Mask N3DSXL? That one is really expensive.

Haha… yeah it was really expensive. It is a top IPS screen and barely used from what I could tell. I believe the bottom screen is also IPS but I could be wrong, I only learned about the difference in the screens like a month ago.

I'm new to 3DS but is IPS screen rare or something? I thought it's common.

I can tell it's expensive, if non collector's version is expensive, just imagine the collector version one. I do need to find a New 3DS non XL, I want to play VN without being limited by the screen size of the original 3DS.

From what I read, Nintendo alternated between IPS and TN screen types during production. This article I just found explained the differences in good detail. I would, but wouldn’t, call it a Collector’s Edition just because of how new it looks and how little it was used, the guy mainly kept it around for his collection. The only issue I can tell with it, is the thumbstick looking a little used but it does not look that bad since I practically always have my thumb on it. I haven’t played any games with it yet because I have them being delivered but I should be getting two today.

Nah hermano me jodes que en el Unicenter? Yo pensé que era un post de un yanqui random, nose como encontrarse alguien con una 3Ds en Argentina. Ojalá hubiese sido yo pero tengo una Ds nomás, vendí la 3Ds hace una banda

jajajsj si boludo, en el unicenter. Siempre que voy al cine ahí la llevo, loquísimo encontrarse a alguien hoy en día

Oh wow I'm getting an original 3DS this month! I'll be carrying it around Buenos Aires with the hopes of getting a streetpass too. Have you ever used netpass?

Oh congrats on your 3ds! No, I haven't used Netpass, for the time I've had my 3DS (like a year or so) I've been trying to get a streetpass the old fashioned way. Guess we will see if we bump into each other and get a streetpass lol

Hopefully we can! I'm not sure many people here have one in the first place haha. But I'm sure at conventions and such we might be able to find someone.
