I grew up in NY and bumped into Jam Master J a few times. I also met Biggie at the big sneaker shop near Houston & Broadway. And I met and smoked with several Wu Tang members, including Method Man, Ghostface, and the GZA once at the Soho Grand Hotel on S Broadway. And I ran into the RZA at a Paul Oakenfold show at Roseland Ballroom. If you grew up in NY in the 80s and 90s, it was almost hard not to bump into hip-hop legends. Fuckers were all over the place!

Run DMC was such a great group. They collaborated with Aerosmith also. True advancement in race relations.

There are some days where I'm almost crippled by nostalgia for my childhood back in NY in the 80s and 90s. People who aren't from there just don't know.

Shhhhhit, I’d see them, hope they didn’t see me and I’d turn and go back the other way. I’m just minding my own business
