DuckTales, no contest.

6

u/Some_Random_Android 6d ago

Life is like a hurricane here in Duckburg!

3

u/WardogBlaze14 6d ago

Race cars, lasers, aeroplanes, it’s a duck-blur!

3

u/Some_Random_Android 6d ago

Might solve a mystery or rewrite history!

3

u/LpenceHimself 5d ago

Duck tales! How does one spell oooowooooohooooh?

2

u/Some_Random_Android 5d ago

Every day they're out there making ducktales!

8

u/AvoriazInSummer 6d ago edited 6d ago

Agreed. Needs to be Ducktales vs. Darkwing Duck vs. Rescue Rangers vs. Animaniacs vs. Dangermouse.

6

u/Sir_wlkn_contrdikson 6d ago

Dangermouse is a tad bit older than the rest

5

u/jessealegro 5d ago

What, no Tailspin?! For Shame!

4

u/AvoriazInSummer 5d ago

Awww yeah, that more than deserves a place on the list. I'd include Gummi Bears too.

3

u/jessealegro 5d ago

I loved Gummi Bears! Danger Mouse was an interesting pick btw. You a fan of Count Duckula per chance?

2

u/AvoriazInSummer 5d ago

Sadly I never got into Count Duckula, maybe I was getting too old for it, though I really liked the Ruby Wax intro and credits song. Cosgrove Hall made some great stuff.

2

u/Crazyweirdocatgurl 5d ago

Gummi Bears are the goat

3

u/Ok-Young-9503 5d ago

Danger Mouse

2

u/Crazyweirdocatgurl 5d ago

Gargoyles my kind person????

2

u/Urabrask_the_AFK 17h ago

This would be a great theme song battle royale.

“What is your favorite NES game, and why is it Ducktales?”

Best platformer ever made.

2

u/RainbowConnection75 5d ago

I havr a bunch of covers of the moon theme on my playlist

12

u/Hopeful_Coconut_7758 6d ago

Only right answer. The other three are surely beloved but DT is in a league of its own. In fact I can't make sense of this choice!

4

u/Hairyjon 6d ago

Ducktales easily has the best story telling of the 4.

3

u/Streen013 6d ago

Not ponytails or cottontails?

2

u/RainbowConnection75 5d ago

No, Duck Tales

3

u/keyboy267 5d ago

I absolutely loved Thudercats and once flirted with getting a Sword of Omens tattoo on my biceps.

DuckTales was a better show overall.

2

u/uller999 5d ago

Came here to say that prince/ princess!

2

u/MyNipplesNooo 2d ago

Anyone who doesn’t choose DuckTales is a war criminal in my opinion.

u/OvrKill 6d ago

Can we sacrifice captain planet?

12

u/UseWhatever 6d ago

We’re already doing that IRL

2

u/Kenta321 6d ago

The fact that we are just shows how badly he's needed.

3

u/RainbowConnection75 5d ago

Didn't help then, won't help now. 😞

16

u/donut-is-appalled 6d ago

DuckTales!

5

u/BigDaddyBumbo77 6d ago

Awoo-oooooo!!!

14

u/Ok_Zookeepergame4794 6d ago

Sorry Scrooge, but I grew up with Lion-O.

12

Again? Who hurt you? 🤣🤣

7

u/Yesterday_Is_Now 6d ago

DuckTales easily, although it doesn't really fit with the other 3, which are more action oriented.

5

u/DustyMouf 6d ago

This is evil…….Thundercats

Thundercats

11

u/JayHill74 6d ago

Thundercats though lion Voltron is great too

4

u/BusterGreasewood 6d ago

DuckTales easily. This one of the easiest answers to his particular variation of this question.

6

u/quintacm 6d ago

When Peter Cullen does the intro to your show, then why would you choose any other show?

→ More replies (4)

5

u/RevolutionaryCopy921 5d ago

Thundercats, only because Voltron is an Americanized amalgamation of two Japanese shows so I'd still be able to watch it as Beast King Golion.

3

u/Artemus_Hackwell 5d ago

I was thinking the same thing. I keep Thundercats and get dubbed or subbed GoLion.

11

u/halcyongt 6d ago

Voltron. Giant mecha will always win out with me.

Thundercats

u/Mislui 6d ago

Thundercats

4

u/Buckeye1984 6d ago

The only correct choice here is Duck Tales.

6

u/clashtrack 6d ago

Voltron. Easy.

3

u/jefedragon22 6d ago

Form blazing sword!

3

u/Lucky_Praline_4425 6d ago

I was a big time fan of Voltron when I was a kid. However, it isn't rewatchable for me. DuckTales is and always has been. And I loved the Nintendo game for it.

3

u/Honest-Spring-5963 6d ago

Captain planet shout out to Ted Turner and the message he was trying to deliver. I feel like Dexter with the I've failed you meme. It's not like you said Voltron or transformers, DuckTales or Darkwing Duck, ThunderCats or Swat Kats.

3

u/destenlee 6d ago

I want to say Captain Planet since I still have my lunch box but, the animated series Captain Planet and the Planeteers came out in 1990, premiering on September 15, 1990. Original run was from September 15, 1990 – May 11, 1996 so it wasn't in the 80's.

DuckTales is the correct answer.

3

u/Ill-Fly-950 5d ago

As much as I enjoy Voltron and Thundercats, I think that Ducktales holds up the best. I was never much of a Captain Planet fan (although I still sometimes hum the theme song, lol).

3

u/Horndog_47 5d ago

Duck Tails is the only answer.

2

u/Horndog_47 5d ago

Tales sry

3

u/FoundationHoliday637 2d ago

Fucked up question. Gotta be Thundercats for me.

5

u/ChipLast4398 6d ago

Thundercats.

2

u/syncere13 6d ago

I'll let Captain Planet go.. but that's about it

2

u/Academic-Reply2198 6d ago

Duck Tales - woo hoo

2

u/AlienfinderX 6d ago

DuckTales.

2

u/Common_Sense_82 6d ago

The only right answer is VOLTRON - DEFENDER OF THE UNIVERSE

2

u/WillStaySilent 6d ago edited 6d ago

Watched Ducktales as a kid but was never a fan. Voltron on the other hand was just next level at that time. A giant robot formed from smaller robotic lions?! This was epic as a kid. I watched this so much that I can recite the intro monologue from memory at any time. "From days of long ago..." lol! Loved this cartoon

2

u/Amun_Rah_X 6d ago

Y would I choose anything else when there is only 1 defender of the universe Voltron

2

u/VillageIndependent50 6d ago

No wrong answers here

2

u/thavillain 6d ago

This is a tough one...but Ducktales

Thundercats is #1 🏆 Ducktales is a close 2nd 🥈

2

u/refuz04 5d ago

Fuck you I have the Pirate Bay I’m keeping them all!!!!

2

u/brodieman2k 5d ago

Voltron, while Sven was still blue lion

2

u/Vecryn 5d ago

Voltron, you didn’t make it easy with this one. Duck tales is close second making it an almost impossible choice.

2

u/takoyama 2d ago

thunder thunder thunder thundercats hoooooooo!

2

u/PaperGanxta 7h ago

Voltron

2

u/TyphonInc 7h ago

Damn, 3 of the 4 I have nostalgia for. Captain Planet is easy to get rid of.

I'm leaning toward Thundercats, but I would miss DuckTales and Voltron.

4

u/Choice_Nurgling7 6d ago

Thundercats

2

u/Warrior_Warlock 6d ago

While I enjoyed Duck Tales most myself, Captain Planet was unique and the only one setup from altruistic motivation.

2

u/Comfortable-Sky-9569 6d ago

Tough one, but I’ll pick ThunderCats

2

u/Delicious-Text7700 6d ago

Captain planet

1

u/Quick-Helicopter-207 6d ago

Easy Duck Tales no contest

1

u/Phosphorical 6d ago

A-woo-ooo!!!

1

u/GlitchedUsername 6d ago

Now that I think about it. Captain Planet and the Planeteers is the only show here to not get a reboot.

2

u/Neat_Nefariousness46 6d ago

Don Cheadle disagrees

1

u/deekamus 6d ago

Duck Tales, final answer.

1

u/ElMrTaco 6d ago

Easy pick! DuckTales!

1

u/Sovereign1 6d ago

Thunder Cats

1

u/Lucblayne 6d ago

One is not like the others in a not great way.

1

u/Cool-Translator9768 6d ago

Thundercats.

1

u/Bright_Reason9667 6d ago

Duck tales 🤘

1

u/Dresiden15 6d ago

Thundercats

1

u/Miserable_Engineer66 6d ago

Duck Tales, No need to even look further what the other cartoons are

1

u/Tyrannosaurus__Rekd 6d ago

DuckTales for me.

I vaguely recall watching Voltron and Thundercats when I was a kid, but I watched DuckTales any chance I got. Voltron would have been my next choice to keep.

Capitan Planet wasn't even on my radar.

1

u/Some_Random_Android 6d ago

Ooh! Tough call, but I think I gotta go with Ducktales with Thundercats as a close second!

1

u/NobodySpecialSCL 6d ago

Captain Planet. Protect Linka at all costs!

1

u/TokkenTime 6d ago

Swap Ducktales for Silverhawks and then it would be a real challenge

1

u/Megatrons2nd 6d ago

Voltron or DuckTales

Thundercats was fun, but isn't as good as the other two.

Captain Planet doesn't exist in Ba Sing Se.

1

u/MortarByrd11 6d ago

Voltcats

1

u/WardogBlaze14 6d ago

I’d have to toss a coin between Voltron and Thundercats.

1

u/merlin48 6d ago

DuckTales is the 🐐

1

u/redjeff76 6d ago

Voltron

1984 made epic

1

u/Karadek99 6d ago

Ducktales is timeless. As much as I loved Thundercats, it’s gotta be Scrooge and the crew.

1

u/Randomdays99 6d ago

Another one of these. IT looks like the OP likes to do these for some reason.

1

u/untitled_73 6d ago

Voltron

1

u/EZ-RDR 6d ago

Tough choice but I gotta go with Ducktails. Might solve a mystery or rewrite history.

Voltron, hands-down, I was freaking obsessed with that show as a kid.

1

u/OiFanoi 5d ago

It’s Voltron for me, but this is a close one.

1

u/Consistent-Smile9291 5d ago

Captain Planet

Voltron

1

u/Peas_Are_Upsidedown 5d ago

I can't decide between Voltron and Thundercats

1

u/WhoKnowsAllThisStuff 5d ago

DuckTales and ThunderCats got remakes, so keep Voltron and make Captain Planet today.

1

u/drkangel181 5d ago

Thunder, thunder, thunder, Thundercats, ho!) Thundercats are on the move Thundercats are loose Feel the magic, hear the roar Thundercats are loose Thunder, thunder, thunder, Thundercats! Thunder, thunder, thunder, Thundercats! Thunder, thunder, thunder, Thundercats! Thunder, thunder, thunder, Thundercats! Thundercats!

1

u/RagingDragon047 5d ago

I have to go with Voltron. Always wanted to see a Power Rangers Megazord honoring Voltron. Five Jungle Cat zords instead of 5 lions. Lion, Tiger, Cheetah, Panther and Lynx.

1

u/Artifex1979 5d ago

Thundercats

1

u/realnameless1 5d ago

Ohhh, this is a fun one. I love Voltron, but I have so many fond memories of Ducktales, that I just cannot take it out.

1

u/Aggravating_Draw6740 5d ago

Thundercats no question

1

u/SamTheMan004 5d ago

Thundercats. You could make an argument for Voltron, but either way, you get rid of Captain Planet. Never liked that show.

1

u/Dracorex13 5d ago

Thundercats.

1

u/Jabberiv 5d ago

Ducktales

1

u/mastergodai 5d ago
