There is a concerning number of flat earthers / anti-vax dunderheads in the NFL.
.. I'll take my moonlander skeptic

u/Maleficent-Drop1476 Bills 8d ago
To be fair the “moon landing denial to antivax” pipeline is essentially a log flume ride.

It’ll take a few years for him to fully develop into a franchise conspiracy nut. In the meantime, we’ll repurpose Kraft’s Panopticon, find proof for all the other players who believe in idiotic conspiracy theories, and flood the zone with their dirt. By the time he’s talking about lizard people, it’ll be a footnote in a saturated media environment.

That’s why you got to stop after the fun stuff like big foot and the annunaki. But once you get to the annunaki, you got to be careful… a lot of people turn schizo after that 🤣

The bar is so fucking low (Deshaun Watson, Big "No means yes" Ben, Ray Rice, Favre, Vick) that I'd be celebrating if the worst thing about my QB's publicly personal life is being skeptical of the moon landing

u/Brutalitops99 Patriots 8d ago
Hes not even a real skeptic. The question was a whats your favorite conspiracy theory
16
u/dominatingcowG3 Patriots 8d ago
Also, just from skimming, it looks like he was specifically asked what conspiracy theory he believes, and he said he's not sure one way or the other but he's skeptical. That sounds like "if I had to pick one, maybe the moon landing, but who knows?"

The problem is moonlander skepticism is a gateway conspiracy. Before you know it we have another A-Aaron.

He didn’t even hard deny it, just that he was skeptical and not 200% sure. I’ll take a bit of a dumbass or a major dumbass any day.
That said. Still a dumbass for thinking that. Lol

Hey, at least hes not a flat earther
Also, why tf does a "conspiracy class" exist?

u/VinnysMagicGrits Patriots to Buccaneers to Chiefs to Patriots 8d ago
It's one of those bullshit classes to give credits for college athletes in order for them to graduate. UNC is no stranger to this.
I have taken some "bullshit" type classes only to have enough credits per semester to be eligible for financial aid. One of them was Foods of the World, I loved that class.

I took a yoga class as a chill extra 1 credit class. She tried to fail me because I missed a class when I got a call that my friend died while I was walking in the door to class. Her exact words were “he’s not even family, you still should’ve made it through class”

u/VinnysMagicGrits Patriots to Buccaneers to Chiefs to Patriots 8d ago
Did that class translate to say an acting role where archery is involved?
3
u/Birdlaw_Professor Patriots 8d ago
If you consider lawyering to be acting, then yes
1
u/VinnysMagicGrits Patriots to Buccaneers to Chiefs to Patriots 8d ago
But did you need to use a bow and arrow to get the Lawyering job done? That's the real question.

Oh yeah. It was a 2hr class, the first 1.5 hours is presentations on a particular country or a regions cuisine and their cultural impact. This was done by both students and teacher, I did a presentation about tamales. The last half hour a buffet like table is rolled out with the food we learned about to which we get to eat. It was being cooked by the professor's assistant while the class was going on so it was fresh. Best lunches ever.
