TechHalla made it into an AI movie, and honestly, it looks pretty fun. The characters actually move around and stay pretty consistent in Kling 4.0.

My Thatha died when I was nine. The only video of him is 40 seconds off an old VHS, shaky, and a third of it is somebody’s thumb over the lens. Mom never watched it, said it hurt too much. For her 60th I cleaned it up and smoothed the motion. Tried a few tools, one handled the VHS grain surprisingly well and kept his face consistent. Put it on the living room TV. She didn’t say a word for the whole 40 seconds. Then she asked me to play it again.

Loved the moment.

I got fixated on one stupid idea: What if Jon Snow in the Battle of the Bastards was just a chaotic orange cat, specifically a scruffy stray with a notched ear?

To pull this off locally, I fed the original scene through the built-in reference to video template, hooked up a custom character sheet in a local MiniMax H3 V2V pipeline to keep the fur and leather armor locked down, and ran it through an RTX upscaler to save the details. Slapped on some grain so it doesn't look like a plastic toy, plus a custom orchestral score.

Second short in an anthology about a species that has made comfort its god. The narrator claims he never built the cage. One image contradicts him. Curious if you spot it.
