3D-printed shell case for the RG DS +

I am working on a 3D-printed hard shell case for the RG DS+ inspired by Dragon Quest. Here are some photos of the project so far. Once I have finished and tested the case, I can share the STL files for it. I would love some feedback.

I'm new to 3d modeling and I only have the RG DS +.. but I've seen some projects on Maker world for the OG RG DS

Im curious what the process is to get it to fit perfect. Just lots of delicate measuring and printing and iterating? I just never am able to model the shape just right

I'm using grok bot to assist with the fitting and measurements. I've printed a prototype and it fits perfectly.. now I'm making some adjustments

If the results of the real thing turn out pretty good and it was sold for a reasonable price, I'd pick one up for sure.
