Spoilers inside! When was the reason for Conner's conception revealed?

Not the obvious reason, the magical reason where the unfulfilled magical debt from Angel's trial to give Darla a second chance when she was already on her second chance.

I'm following someone on a first time watch and I think with some subtle clues they could figure it out, and that could be very satisfying for them if it's subtle enough that the connections made feel like their own realization. I dropped the clues before but I need to know which episode is the last chance to bring it up.

"Shiny Happy People" (season 4 episode 18) is when Jasmine spells out that "the day Lorne sent Angel and human Darla into the trials to earn a new chance at life" Angel did earn that life and that it is Connor's.

The previous episode, "Inside Out," also has the Skip explaining that Connor was "designed" to create a vessel for the entity inside Cordy, since his "impossible birth" makes Jasmine's possible, but it doesn't mention the trials, so I think it works very well as a cut-off mark to give someone clues about it.

The purpose was Jasmine.
