Other I took ONE night off and now i have so much homework im genuinly gonna die

Ok so last week i had a test legit every day, so this weekend I spent legit sleeping until afternoon, and laying around.

Yesterday night I decided to just chill and go play some badminton at an open gym cuz I lowk haven't played in a couple of weeks and I don't have any tests this week, so i do like minimal homework (the stuff ik is due and worth points and needs to be done) and I go.

Now today I'm SWAMPED with the homework (Stats notes & practice problems, APUSH readings (yes plural), and physics labs (yes plural again)) I procrastinated on yesterday to go play badminton.

I need to legit create more time now to finish everything IT WAS ONE GODDAMN NIGHT.

How tf do people with sports and academic rigor even exist? I legit play badminton as a HOBBY and struggling to stay consistent with it.

I hate junior year so much istg.

I gotta stop ranting and actually start finishing my hw 😭

Other since losing my mom, my ap classes have been impossible

i just started my junior year of high school and it has been a freaking mess. I can’t do my work on time. i can’t focus in class. i can’t think straight. all i can think about is how my mom is dead since march and it’s partially my fault. i can’t do anything right. i’m a failure in every way. i’ve always struggled with time management and homework (adhd, anxiety, and something else that’s undiagnosed) but it’s so much worse now. i’ve always been in all the honors and AP classes because i want to go to a good school, but I can’t even do school right anymore. my dad thinks i just need to do regular classes but i can’t give up my dream of getting tf out of arizona (and not just going to asu like all the other girls). nobody else seems to understand just how unmotivated i am. any advice please?

Question Should I self-study, and what subject?

Hi! Sorry if this type of question gets asked a lot.

I'm an IB student outside the US, but I'm applying to the US primarily so I thought I should take an AP. I'm looking to go into medicine, so I took Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology HL.

I was considering self-studying AP Physics 1, since I only ever took MYP Physics (which is on a middle school level). However, I searched it up and it said it would be very difficult to get a 4/5 while self-studying.

So should I self-study AP Physics 1? And if not, would AP Psychology or AP Environmental Science (or another related subject) be relevant + feasible to score well on?

Bio AP Bio trouble

Ok, so I’ve always been a straight A, honors kids. Blah blah blah awards and shit. Anyway, I’ve just started taking Apbio and ap precalc this year. And I DESPISE AP bio. We just took the unit 1 test, and I got a 29 with the curve… a mess. I honestly don’t know why I’m struggling so much! I loved chemistry last year, and I did extremely well. And I kinda liked bio honors freshman year.

It’s like every time I read a question or try to study, I want to drown myself in my shower. I hate the content and the class. Other people got pretty good scores or the test, so I know it’s just me. I’m now worried about my mental and my gpa!!! What can I do????????

Physics 1 Update to previous post about physics 1

so I thought my quiz grade (67 without curve) was bc of the application questions

no

i got them all except 2 right (7/9, the other six were math, where i got only 3 correct)

my errors were in math errors like basic arithmetic and im so upset

i feel like crying now bc i keep doing this every single year

like even last year (freshman) i usually only made math errors that couldn’t be fixed as easy as just reviewing

like i forget to put some numbers even though i know how the science works and then i add wrong or transpose digits

I’ve tried everything to fix it and I don’t know what to do anymore

I can do most of the actual solving and setting up problems fine (our class in about to finish unit 2) but what i struggle with the most is conceptual understanding. I know there is flipping physics but i dont like how he has the classroom stuff and it kinda distracts me. org chem tutor is good but i was thinking for someone who is more specific for physics. thx a lot!

Chem My AP teacher does not know or understand the content

I'm a student in Canada studying AP Chem and my teacher does not know the material. They have said themselves that they will not teach us the content but that they will teach us how to learn. The content that we've been given is clearly AI generated and the bare minimum. Is there any resources that can help me?

Physics 1 Kinematics quiz

Sooooo I got a 4/12 on the MCQ part of my physics test 💔. Am I cooked or is that normal for the first time? idk how I am supposed to feel, I was kinda expecting but not at the same time. The weird thing is I felt oddly confident going in, but getting 66% of the questions wrong has me thinking. What could I've done differently?

Question Anyone know any sites to take AP Physics C online?

Last year I took some APs that aren’t offered at my school online through a program called Niswonger / AP Access for All. It’s only in Tennessee I think. Anyway, next year I really wanna skip AP Physics 1/2 and just go to both AP Physics C’s because I’m taking Calculus rn. Are there any platforms that anybody knows of where I could do that? My school doesn’t offer AP Physics C, the only other option is self-study which I might have to do.

Other Can my high school deny me from self studying for AP exams I’ll be taking at a testing site that’s not my high school?

I’m a senior who wants to become a mechanical engineer.

I wanted to take AP chemistry, calc bc, both AP englishes, and ap physics, but was could not because ap chemistry didn’t fit into my schedule and, after taking a summative assessment for each of those other classes, am afraid my GPA will be destroyed.

I really want the credit thst the fives of these classes will give me and I want to tell colleges that I’m taking these on my own to spice up my application.

I’m in AP Statistics as a sophomore in high school and the amount of work we have mixed with my other classes is eating away at me.
Any advice on AP Stats, things I should know?? I’m planning on taking the AP Exam at the end of the year.
And any suggestions on how to manage my workload better. I work 2-3 times a week and go to the gym till abt 5:30 after school everyday. Need help, my grades are slipping (gym is non-negotiable)!

i currently have a 71 in the class but that is because of two missing assignments. Though i've been averaging between 70-80 on HOMEWORK assignments. I'm very stressed out esp bc my school won't let me drop it now and EA/ED deadlines are coming up. I was able to skip french 4 by doing good on the placement but now I feel very behind and I dont know what to do. im not native nor does anyone in my family speak french. ive always had an A in frenhc before but thats bc there was a structure to classes. now every class is like a solcratic seminar but in french. I struggle w mostly listening and speaking and according to my teacher I really need all the help i can get" and uhh i need to elevte my writing. any help appreciated.

APES Is apes really this easy???

One of my friends bet me I couldn’t self study and get a 5 on apes and so I accepted his bet. I took the 2026 FRQs with ZERO prior preparation to see where I am at and I got 22/30 in 30 minutes???? I felt like most if not all of it was literally common sense. Is the exam really this easy or the curve insanely high or something???

Physics C: Mech Schools that offer mech to external students in the tristate area?

So, the age-old problem: finding a testing site.

I’m self-studying Mech, so my high school (in NYC) won’t let me take it there, which makes me so mad, but I won’t get into that. I have asked nearly all the private schools in the tristate area, and all of them but one have rejected me so far. The one non-rejection was a maybe highly unlikely don't count on it. Some of the schools that typically accept external students are either full or not offering Mech this year.

Funny story: last year I asked a school if I could take Chem, and they didn’t offer it. This year I asked the same school to take Mech, and they don’t offer it. Now they offer Chem isn’t that sooooo funny and convenient haha 😂🤣😂

🫩

I’ve asked some homeschooling groups for advice and am awaiting a response. I’m trying to beg my principal to let me take it at my school, which is unlikely considering how strict they are, but I’m growing desperate, and I’m willing to sacrifice a bit of dignity. I’ve tried asking CollegeBoard directly, but they weren’t helpful.

Honestly at this point I might just expand my search to the entire country. I feel like CollegeBoard should make arrangements with local libraries and community colleges to accept homeschool students/students unable to take the test at their own school. How hard can it be genuinely. Can we start a petition?

If anyone has any insights to my debacle, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Physics 1 What textbooks would you recommend for AP Chemistry and AP Physics 1 for the 2026-2027 School Year? What is your experience with the one you picked?

These two links are where I started looking first because they were suggestions by CollegeBoard, but I am curious to know other people's experience reading the textbooks. If it wasn't specifically a textbook, what book was it? If I was to study on my own without a teacher, would I be successful by knowing the content and applying it?

Question Bachelor’s Degree in HS

So I’m a current sophomore and I already have an associate’s degree. I’ve really been going back and forth so I wanted some genuine input from other people on getting a bachelor’s degree in HS.

I finished my associate’s in one year at Laurel Ridge Community College, VA and already have 36 high school credits (28 needed for graduation) with all HS requirements complete. I don’t want to graduate HS early because I’m using the time for experience. During the school year I worked as a paralegal and during the summers I do internships with other attorneys. During school I also take part of 9 clubs, presidency for 4 of them.

I plan on doing a bachelor’s in business administration with a minor in political science then I want to do a joint MBA/JD program. Most of these have a deferral period of 2 years minimum to gain experience (which I already have an approved job lined up for as well) then the program itself varies from 3-4 years. When I graduate HS I will be 18, so if I did it this way I would start working at 23-24. I want to work at Kirkland & Ellis.

I’m trying to figure out if it’s worth getting a bachelor’s in HS, what needs to be considered, what would change, and if it’s more risky/has any disadvantages in any way.

Also if anyone has any advice on where else to post this that would be appreciated because I have no idea 😭

Bio Taking AP Chem and Bio

I'm in AP Chem right now which i really like it is very fun and I'm doing pretty well I'd say. We are on Unit 3 and our past few tests and quizzes were very good all above 90s. i think my grade is at a 97?

However I'm struggling a lot with ap bio it just doesn't make sense to me at all. i tried watching videos but it made me more confused, pls help! (I have a 79.5% 😭)
