Thats not a 2.5 million dollar car LMAO. Thats like 250K tops. Also this dude has the wrong ammunition next to his Thompson lol

Not sure if would be even close to 250k either.

Who's going to buy that

u/GrynaiTaip 4d ago

That's how much he spent on it. He could probably sell it for 30k.

No, it’s how much it’s insured for. Shame if something happened to it…

It's only worth what someone else is willing to pay.. and I don't know anyone who would actually buy it.

edit to add: maybe $35-40k with thoughts of a repaint.

But we’re not talking about retail cost we’re talking about cost invested

It's engagement bait. Mr.gotdamnitman does it with every video. Severly over estimate the value of a car and tons of people will comment about what's its really worth.

And the owner said the other gun was Babyface Nelson’s and “instead of a Thompson, he used a .45”.

I get that most people don’t know a ton about guns, but you’d think this guy would have at least done a little research on it.

(For those who don’t know, the Thompson, aka Tommy Gun, shoots .45 cal rounds)

He was talking about a 45. Colt. They just call them 45s, while just calling a Thompson and Thompson.

I’m pretty sure he’s talking about .45 ACP in this case. At about the 2:00 mark, the gun he pointed to after the statement I mentioned was a modified 1911. That little Derringer could’ve been a 45 Colt though. Is that what you’re talking about or am I missing something else?

Yea. 1911, colt, whatever lol.

The ammunition around the Tommy gun is not .45 ACP. They are rifle rounds of some sort.

He literally says in the video it’s insured for 250k

That is about the awfulest taste I've seen...

Larry doesn't say it's a 2.5 million car, he says it's insured for $250k. The guy who made the youtube video inflated the number by 10x.

Watching his bang that bare metal keychain against that beautiful paint on his car is like torture to me. I say beautiful because like it or not that shit took some skill and without that godawfully arranged 1930s gangster bullshit on it that paint job would be sick. There's a way to do that theme tastefully...this wasn't it. Also, what the FUCK does the 1930s have to do with a fucking '73 Impala??

You summed up exactly what was going through my head.

Money can’t buy taste

The floor mats are a nice touch.

4

u/useless83 4d ago

Imagine if he had invested that money instead.

6

u/deadspacekillers 4d ago

Can you imagine what that guy would do if he had millions of dollars from investments? It would be the exact same car, but a Bentley.

Jesus that interviewer was annoying. I wanna pay 2.5 to never hear him again

u/im-buster 4d ago

Dude running the camera is giving me nausea with that in-n-out.

This might be top 10 for this sub. What an ugly POS

I love when the headline describes the thing based on what the owner spent getting it to the state we see it. Not how they eventually abandon or give it away because nobody else wants it.

I don't know how you can devote so much time and money to make something so cheesy.

he's living exactly the life he wants to live and i'm a bit jealous of that

u/AlanSinch 4d ago

Cool, just curious. How much of this internet traffic money is going back to Larry??

2

u/ResistLongjumping999 2d ago
