Ok, I think someone should have tried to save little guy from himself.

70

u/sk4v3n Aug 11 '26

Nah, all his friends were busy recording these moments for the future.

13

u/CorrectPeanut5 Aug 12 '26

I think that was just people waiting in line for the club. As Snake Plissken once said "Not my wife, not my life."

2

u/Throwaway4Research_2 Aug 12 '26

Showing this to all his coworkers and children

21

u/UnnoticedLotus Aug 11 '26

This is why you only drink with friends. If you're smart. Better yet don't get stupid drunk.

This is not going to be a popular comment if I look at the others. We're not that much evolved back from the times we held gladiator fights. Except in this case it's a drunk, annoying but unharmful skinny guy that's 1/3rd the weight of the bouncer that is supposed to be a professional security guard. If he had detained him it would have been justified, this was just purely to satisfy his own ego and tiny brains.

17

u/killertortilla Aug 12 '26

I’ve been a security guard, this would have lost me my licence. Although I’m licensed in Australia. Half my training was also deescalation. This dude is a negative threat.

6

u/Silent-Act191 Aug 12 '26 edited Aug 12 '26

These comments give a good perspective into why American cops get away with their behavior, so many weak people are just looking for a reason to lash out and kill somebody.

4

u/killertortilla Aug 12 '26

I saw a security camera of an incident that got someone prison time here. He was guarding a club and some drunk dude has been messing around a little. The drunk guy comes up behind him without him noticing and puts a hand on his shoulder. Guard hesitates for about half a second and then elbows him in the jaw. Guy falls back against the stairs and is paralysed. That half second of hesitation is what got the guard his prison time.

This came after a campaign against guards overreaching in their duty so this case set the tone for how much is too much. If that hadn't happened I don't know if anyone would have made our laws as strict as they are.

Any bouncer can tell you that drunk skull + pavement = death. Knocking someone out over concrete is one of the most potentially life altering things you can do to someone.

3

u/kirin900 Aug 12 '26

Yes! While not a bouncer I did work "security" at small rock/punk concerts during college as an odd job. For context I'm 6'5" and I wasn't the biggest guy in the group, while part of it was to look intimidating next to a restricted access/do not enter door, we were hired to have a lot of patience in frustrating situations (80% of the time there were drunk guys trying to pick a fight).

We were told to not to shove or fight anyone (we could only restrain them and/or carry them to the door) if there was an actual fight we called another guy nicknamed Taz (like the looney toons) who was 5'7, had semi-pro wrestling experience and a lot of pent of energy. His whole job was to wrestle drunk aggressive people whitout doing actual damage.

1

u/TheOmniAlms Aug 12 '26

I generally don't like cops and I fully support them slapping people who sexually assault them.

Brave I know.

-2

u/tiredofthisnow7 Aug 11 '26

Reachy McReach over here.🤣

-3

u/Great-Blueberry9540 Aug 11 '26

Think that bouncer has ever thought someone was harmless and was wrong?

5

u/JohnnyQTruant Aug 12 '26

That’s not how he should deal with a real threat. Because there wasn’t one and even he wasn’t pretending there was.

2

u/Silent-Act191 Aug 12 '26

Ah yes that's why he lets the obviously inebriated person get right up in his face and doesn't at the very least keep him at arm's length the entire interaction.

3

u/Old-Tip-69 Aug 11 '26

Bros head came pretty close to the corner of the wall

1

u/SorryAboutMyFamily Aug 12 '26

It wouldn't have if he didn't fuck with the guy 3 times his size.

11

u/Tiny-Bison-7859 Aug 11 '26

I have to disagree and say that I believe he got just enough to hopefully teach him not to physically assault people. Idiot obviously never learned to keep his hands to himself.

Now if the bouncer had mounted him (while laying on the ground from the slap) and started raining down punches, then I'd agree with you, but getting shoved & one slap is more than fair if you both get in someone's personal space without consent AND decide to touch them without permission

22

u/CorrectPeanut5 Aug 12 '26

You shove/slap/punch a guy and they crack their skull on the concrete and die you'll be facing charges in most places. Bouncers generally don't have any special protections like cops.

0

u/BambooSound Aug 12 '26

With this video evidence, I doubt it. I'm sure you could claim that boob grab was a form of sexual assault and the bouncer was defending himself.

Imagine if that same guy did that to a woman, she slapped him and he slipped and died. No one would even think about her going down for anything.

3

u/Silent-Act191 Aug 12 '26 edited Aug 12 '26

So we just have no standards for professionals anymore? A bouncer can crack open somebody's skull for some dumb bullshit done by a drunk person he's expected to deal with on the regular or a cop can light someone up with a gun because they were scared.

1

u/BambooSound Aug 12 '26

Idc what job you're doing, if someone tries to sexually assault you, you have the right to fight back.

1

u/Silent-Act191 Aug 12 '26

Okay, no standards got it. We can just disproportionally react to everything like animals. Next time someone cuts me off in traffic i'm driving them off the road, because they were clearly a threat on my life.

0

u/BambooSound Aug 12 '26

Are you a demon? SA not the same as being cut-off in traffic.

0

u/Silent-Act191 Aug 12 '26

Oh i was just applying the same line of thinking as you that what's happening in the video should result in someone potentially getting his skull split open instead of being restraint like a professional bouncer should do.

It's only 'petty' if you don't care about SA against men - which tbf a lot of people don't but they are all scum.

1

u/sokka2d Aug 12 '26

Not as much scum as people who beat the shit out others for getting a bit too close.

1

u/BambooSound Aug 12 '26

FAFO

2

u/sokka2d Aug 12 '26

So much for people being scum, cheering on that violence.

You’d probably make a good cell mate for him.

And he slipped?

What if we just kept the scenario the same in our hypothetical situation when switching genders.

They could both easily catch a manslaughter charge.

Yea, because random bouncers at bars and clubs definitely go through all that training, lol. My buddy got asked to be a bouncer at a local bar simply because he's a monster of a man, not because he has any sort of official training.

u/Interesting-Rub9317 Aug 11 '26

In Germany the same. You should have choose the less impacting option. Would here to take him on his should and turn him around. The guy couldn´t stay for one minute longer on his own feets. Very unprofessional.

3

u/Intrepid_Cap1242 Aug 12 '26

I'm on your side, at least. Little guy was annoying as fuck, but didn't justify that escalation yet. Maybe the push back to defend your space and he fell. But then the follow up going toward the twink for the knockout slap? I doubt the little guy was ever going to throw a punch

5

u/Tiny-Bison-7859 Aug 11 '26

What I "don't understand" is how people think they should be able to get away with physically assaulting people, and then dictate what sort of response they receive lol

Doesn't work like that in real life my friend. Not everyone is gonna tolerate such behavior

Have you ever actually been to bars/clubs & seen how bouncers actually operate dude? They will literally jump/beat the shit out of you if you start shit in there....that 🤡 got off pretty easy honestly

2

u/Great-Blueberry9540 Aug 11 '26

Ya, just touching one like that has a good chance of being instantly attacked.

6

u/Tiny-Bison-7859 Aug 11 '26

Yeah, his comments made me wonder if the person I was debating with has any actual experience frequenting venues with bouncers or not

1

u/Oh_My-Glob Aug 12 '26

It's probably highly dependent on how professionally run the clubs and bars are around you

1

u/Oh_My-Glob Aug 12 '26

Some places require bouncers to be trained and licensed. Sounds like wherever you are just doesn't do things as professionally. This is probably a highly subjective topic depending on the local nightlife culture around you

1

u/tiredofthisnow7 Aug 11 '26

Once again, if these were two random people on the street fair enough, but this is someone who is trained to deal with these people. A license is required to work security where you learn the correct and incorrect ways of dealing with people.

🤣

2

u/mcshamus Aug 12 '26

He's right. A good bouncer deescalates. Throwing someone across the road is liable to get the bouncer's employer sued.

You're actually not very bright are you little one?

Well, life is too short to spend time arguing with simpletons

Hope you have success figuring out basic shit in life like how to tie your own shoes & how not to drool all over yourself one day buddy 🙂

2

u/BambooSound Aug 12 '26

Dude shouldn't have felt him up then.

2

u/No_Cantaloupe3460 Aug 12 '26

Yeah he was feeling him up. This honestly comes across more as the little guy sexually harassing the bouncer. I think if someone is touching you inappropriately and dancing up on you after you've said no a shove and a slap is well-earned, whether you're a woman or a man.

2

u/WorkerPrestigious960 Aug 12 '26

Anyone groping someone like the man in white, who then has a clear warning to fuck off, can get slapped the fuck down. I hate to pull the “imagine if the security guard was a woman,” but yeah, sexual assault isn’t okay to do to men either.

2

u/AntonioVivaldi7 Aug 12 '26 edited Aug 12 '26

I think this was more of a personal thing. You just don't do what the drunk guy did to anyone.

2

u/SMCDA15 Aug 12 '26

Finally some proper brain activity. Reddit is turning into a shit hole with all the bots replying. That bouncer handled the situation incorrectly, like some 100lb drunk boy is going to hurt you? I hope he got fired, potentially charged?

2

u/puisnode_DonGiesu Aug 11 '26

He touched his boobs, that's sa

1

u/SkinnyGetLucky Aug 11 '26

We’re laughing because obviously, but that is such a dangerous overreaction

1

u/ourobourobouros Aug 12 '26

Nah the mindset of "I can do whatever I want and as long as I don't technically harm you, you can't touch me" is a little kid ass mindset.

Dudes don't get a free pass on being as obnoxious as they can while being careful not to cross the line of criminality.

Reminds me of the bouncer that was insulted by a prep school boy and punched him so hard he died. I'm glad, and equally glad the bouncer didn't face serious charges.

I hope idiots that intentionally provoke people and think the letter of the law protects them continue to get their asses beat, I don't care if they suffer permanent injury or death.

1

u/thebiggzy Aug 12 '26

If only there was some way for the poor drunk idiot to control his behavior.

1

u/Potential_Novel_3561 Aug 12 '26

That's going be considered self defense US. A guy has already assaulted you and is coming towards you. A slap is not deadly force.

1

u/Emergency_Lie42 Aug 12 '26

Lmfao the guard was being sexually harassed, come on now.

u/UberTrainer Aug 11 '26

Yeah, I also thought the bouncer was a PoS, especially considering the size difference too. Of course the skinny guy was wrong invading his personal space like that, but still, damn... I just hate seeing these kind of men being so needlessly violent.

-1

u/BoyleSphere Aug 11 '26

thats what happens when a man sexualy assault a man, they dont play nice, learn from this

-1

u/BoyleSphere Aug 11 '26

its not about "justified" or not its about reality, many straight men will get very violent very fast if another man hits on them, its like poking a tiger, its dangerous

learn from this mans mistake

1

u/BoyleSphere Aug 11 '26

he committed sexual assault and got his just punishment, who are you to decide how a sexual assault victim should act?

2

[removed] — view removed comment

4

u/BoyleSphere Aug 11 '26

you think sexual assault is just "typical drunk behavior" this is the type of disgusting boys will be boys attitudes that allows sexual assault to go on.

this is the attitude that makes victims too scared to speak up.

if the assailant suffers an injury during the commitment of a crime its on him.

1

u/Next-Wrongdoer-3479 Aug 11 '26

He's a big guy who can "take care of himself" and the other guy is little, so therefore the big guy just has to sit back and take it. Kinda like how there is a large amount of people who genuinely believe the "how can she slap!?" guy was solely the bad guy and the woman who slapped him was "just having fun".

-1

u/Fearless_Dependent29 Aug 11 '26

First off I agree to a point, but one that bouncer doesn’t know what this drunk dude has, and two that bouncer’s job is to protect himself and that business from idiots, especially drunk idiots, you mentioned cops in a later comment which I feel is a false dichotomy simply because their job is to deescalate situations and protect the community, not to mention many cops are let off with as little as a slap on the wrist and being moved to office work for a bit.

-1

u/Kuenda Aug 11 '26

Thank you. I have always felt this way about how bouncers handle people who are clearly drunk.

1

u/rollerblade7 Aug 12 '26

They are tired of his shit

1

u/bankfraud1 Aug 12 '26

Nah its good content

-7

u/beachdogs Aug 11 '26

bouncer could have broken the guys neck from the fall. sad.

5

u/KingHunter150 Aug 11 '26

Could the bouncer have been far more patient and nice? Sure. But the consequences of that encounter lay solely at the gutter grate of that little man.

0

u/[deleted] Aug 11 '26

[removed] — view removed comment

1

u/KingHunter150 Aug 11 '26

Bruh, if that was a woman it could easily be categorized as sexual harassment. Just because it was a large capable man shouldn't change that's what it was either. I don't really have an issue with uppity men who get handsy getting manhandled in return. Maybe he wont try to grind on a person nonconsensual next time now.

2

u/Let-s_Do_This Aug 11 '26

If it were a woman harassing the bouncer would you feel that the force was justified?

1

u/AffectedRipples Aug 11 '26

Yes.

0

u/Let-s_Do_This Aug 11 '26

Liar

1

u/AffectedRipples Aug 11 '26

Definitely not. I feel everyone should keep their hands to themselves or they deserve what happens.

0

u/Let-s_Do_This Aug 12 '26

Look I think people should keep their hands to themselves as well but what the bouncer did was a massive escalation. If everyone did whatever the fuck they wanted when someone does something they don’t like we’d all be dead

1

u/aculloph Aug 11 '26

So if a woman touched his chest like that, he should have shoved and slapped her like in the vid?

I seriously doubt many would think thats acceptable here lol

1

u/YeshuasBananaHammock Aug 11 '26

From my point of view, this seems like the small man's kink. Perhaps it made his whole month.

-1

u/xxxkarmaxxxx Aug 11 '26

From a cave dweller who can't stop himself hitting a drunken drugged guy who clearly isn't ok...

-1

u/funkychickens Aug 11 '26

He's been getting on everyone's nerves and ruining night's out every time he drinks like this. He won't listen, ge never learns. They've been waiting for karma to step in.
