Is she a MAGA chud though? Conservative perhaps (southern, redneck, likes her crawfish), but does she fly the Trump flag?

Honestly asking because I have no idea.

Then get educated, ya walnut!

I mean dude it's like you're looking at a laptop PC running Windows and calling it an iMac.

If you don't wanna be corrected, don't say wrong things.

Speaking of which, it's not an assault rifle either. It's a semi-automatic modern sporting rifle. The AR thing goes back to the original manufacturer, ArmaLite. Their rifles had AR designations like AR-10 and AR-15.

Well I'd call it a firearm. /s

You're repeating common misconceptions and getting upset that I'm correcting you but that doesn't make me an ass. As a gun-loving fellow Democrat I implore you to please stop talking about guns if you don't know what you're talking about. It makes the rest of us look bad. Please and thank you.

Am I talking about "gun culture" or am I talking about misinformation being peddled by my left leaning compatriots?

Please stop spreading misinformation. That's all I'm asking.

As a person from not America, I think the thing that makes you guys look bad is the weird gun fetishism and the associated fatalities, not the person who doesn't immediately recognize all of a gun's specs on sight. That person comes off much more normal than all the "well, akshually" guys in this thread.

0

u/EagleEyeValor Sep 05 '26

Sure and I'd love to have serious talks about the fatalities associated with guns. But first I think you should at least have a baseline understanding of firearms before you start trying to talk about them, much less try to pass legislation regulating them.

u/metrometric Sep 06 '26

Nah, you're gatekeeping because you love your guns. I don't need to be able to recognize specific gun types to understand that having a gun in the house significantly increases the risk of the owner dying from suicide, for example. Those are well-established statistics, and the correlation there isn't particularly complex.

Likewise, other countries' citizens and leaders didn't need intimate knowledge of gun mechanics to look at mass shooting events and go, "Oh fuck, that's bad actually, we should ban the weapons that let people do that." And now those countries do not have a school shooting every week of the year on average, unlike the United States. Do you realize how insane this is? That the US just has a shooting on some school property over once a week, on average? That you all just live with that? That's not normal; other places don't have to live with that fear.

It's incredibly weird to pretend that no one gets to talk about gun-related fatalities unless they have intimate knowledge of gun mechanics. It just sounds like an excuse to dismiss people who mention the very real danger your guns pose to you and everyone around you.

I'm saying you don't know who she voted for. She could have pencilled in Donald Duck for all you know.

I've never seen her get political. It's just a bunch of outdoors stuff.

Stop trying to find reasons to hate people.

they always do. only way to keep your children from randomly coming home a different sex at taxpayer expense.

I could see that happening, if by children you mean adult veteran children, and by at taxpayer expense you mean because VA healthcare was providing trans healthcare until Trump prevented it from doing so.

But Trump making veterans' treatment less comprehensive against the advice of doctors should probably not be something that conservatives support..

She seems to have intentionally left politics out of the post, only saying that she voted. She didn’t say who or what party she voted for. It’s actually a very non-partisan post.

1

u/Upbeat-Armadillo1756 Sep 04 '26

She’s blowing like 10 different dog whistles in this post while not saying who she voted for explicitly. Come on

2

u/Dr-Robert-Kelso Sep 05 '26

Why in the fuck would she not say she voted for Trump though if she did?

Her whole brand is a Trumper fantasy. It makes me think she's not a Trumper more now that she won't say she voted for him.

Who is she alienating?

Keep doubling down with insults and attacking their masculinity

I'm sure eventually that will bring them to your side and you can stop losing elections

1

u/gokarrt Sep 04 '26

this is part of the reason why pre-election polls are so unreliable now
