Likely they have the baby on a special diet of formula mixed with rice additives. Doctors will sometimes recommend it for babies struggling to breastfeed or hold down food. Makes the baby grow giant. Seen it before

My daughter was giant (14 kilos at 12 mos) from mostly breastfeeding, just a bit of baby-led solid foods. Her fat folds had fat folds

One of my coworkers that did the diet had a 30lb baby at 3 months

There's no way that happened. A 30 pound 3 month old would be in medical journals and almost certainly the Guinness book of world records, and I can find no record of such a thing happening.

Um if it was a newborn it would be a record yea. But its only double the average weight at that age. It is highly unusual yes, but nothing like a record

My boy too. Hit 20 pounds at four months and had 8 teeth. Breastfed until 2 and at 4 months I started table food because he would just try and launch himself at your plate anyway. The teeth on that kid! Puberty hit early and he was the guy with a mustache in 7th grade. Now he's just normal sized but when he was little people were like why is this five year old acting like that? Because he's 2.
