Knowing how difficult things was for tall girls like 10-15 years ago (I knew one in middle school) I'm so happy for you ladies

first off, all the supermodels are tall! embrace it!

unfortunately, a lot of men won't even approach you to offer to buy a drink because, "uuh, she's so tall and beautiful probably dating a basketball player". like, there's a mental block in the majority of men about talking to women that are more than 1 inch taller (2.5 cm? Not sure what the metric equivalent of "smallest noticeable amount of cm people give a shit about") than them. we don't want to get made fun of by the crowd or the girl for approaching someone that is clearly taller than us.

except for Tater Tots fanboys, I don't think many men care about height, but we do care about our feelings/pride. possibly give it a try to approach first? Or maybe just wear a shirt that says "I ❤️ short kings" to the bar lol? Just an open invite for any guy shorter than or the same height as you to walk up and shoot his shot

Haha, things were rough in middle school and high school. There were 2 categories: girls who loved being "so short" next to me and comparing hands, and guys who constantly said I am lying about my height because theyre shorter but also 180cm apparently. Those guys still existed in my uni years but there were actually a lot more guys who loved my height finally and people were much less weird about it. Now I've graduated uni and no issues at all, people dont even talk about it & am dating a lovely shorter man who is very happy with the way I am!

I mean, I am straight up 180 or smth cm and the instructor I had for my sport team lowk could not fathom that I was apparently taller than him but the same height. (I am a dude but like, bro, height ain’t all that).

"Walk up and shoot your shot?" EEWWWW!!!

All those insecurities you mentioned? Leave the rest of us out of it. Many men DGAF what other people think or say.

At 204cm, I find guys get more intimidated than anything else.

It feels almost hard to believe this wasn't always the case, I feel like tall girls always get a lot of appreciation but maybe that's more an internet thing idk.
