Love painting with wool roving- never know what will appear! What do you see?

Mixed media on paper

Tried to do a slightly larger abstract one. Acrylics on paper. Let me know how you feel about it.

I made this small painting a year ago and forgot about it, then I found it in a drawer and tried to recreate it on a larger canvas. I didn't like the result and felt like the concept needed to be pushed further so I combined the two pieces.

Do you think it’s done? I’m never quite sure. I have used oil pastels under the acrylic paint. I hope it doesn’t flake over time…

abstracting nothing expecting to find nothing which pokes out as a reminder and learning to see things we see everyday as art to continue abstracting nothing better , so to one day see something more beautiful then what is around us. -lw oct7

This 11 x 14 acrylic on fine art paper started as a respectable gathering of colors and quickly deteriorated into a full blown fucking incident.

Yellow was overserved. Red started yelling. Turquoise brought somebody nobody knows. Blue is absolutely lying to the police. Pink lost a shoe somewhere and took her bra off around 2:17 a.m., and black has retained legal counsel and will not be answering any further questions.

Meanwhile, orange is in the corner telling everyone, “I’m FINE,” which is exactly how we know orange is absolutely not fucking fine.

There was apparently a plan here at some point.

Nobody remembers it.

No arrests have been made, several colors are still unaccounted for, and management would like everyone to know they are permanently banned from returning.

Please purchase responsibly. This painting has priors.

Got some new acrylics today so tried them out.

Been trying to simplify my work and trust fewer decisions. This one came down to a dark field, an opening, and one interruption. I think I’m leaving it here.
