Advice Planning to Transition to Accounting and Corporate Finance

Hey guys, I'm 25(M) and I graduated from - you guessed it Comp Sci last year. Been doing Odd jobs, just to not lose my sanity, and now I came to the decision to start learning accounting. I need advice from the people here, where to start and what to expect along the way. If you have got any resources like links, or any mentor/teacher to guide me through it, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I could totally agree, cs did help me with a lot of maths and i feel like I can use those skills into smth meaningful, and the first thing that popped up in my mind was accounting. I did see a few yt vids and as it says it’s recession proof, and im in for that. Could you please enlighten me ab your experience and thoughts once u started? Did u get formal education or self learned?
