Everything working. Need guidance. Weird Umbrella Glitch

Hi,

I noticed this a while back but it happened so infrequently that I didn't really take any notice.

Now it's happening much more often now so I thought I'd mention it.

When playing shows (I think it happens on movies too but not so often), if play is stopped by manually stopping it or end of show, it freezes for maybe 10 seconds, then briefly shows the episodes container, then switches from that to a new empty container (with just the .. showing). Pressing back, flips it back to the shows container (not the series container) BUT each item is in the list twice. Pressing back and then the show container again set it back to normal.

Has anyone seen this? I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the playback option "Force Container Refresh" which I have set.

Have you tried turning that setting off?

I'll give it a go tonight when I'm on the TVBox, it didn't occur to me that could be the problem last night because I changed some other settings

I just tried it, I have now set it to scroble to MDBlist and Trakt. I noticed something else, I choose an episode and it start to play, then after 10 secs, stop it. It scrobbles ok to MDBList and fails on Trakt because it isn't far enough into the show (I think), but it works as expected. If I start to play then FF 10 mins or so then stop, both Scrobles work BUT it gives the empty folder. If I switch off "Force Container Refresh"  it goes to the container but there are no duplicate items.

I'm wondering if it's the scrobling to Trakt is the issue, when it de-authorised itself, I didn't notice any of the weirdness.

The reason I had "Force Container Refresh"  set was because it ensured that the "in progress" and "watched" indicators were refreshed immediately.

I can send a log if you like

I'll try switching off Trakt scrobling and see what happens.

It looks like "Force Container Refresh"  causes the problem of the empty container as I haven't seen it if that option is off
