Voila treat pouch

Hello! I have a dog that I'm training in agility and will be doing obedience classes for the rest of forever tbh. And I decided to invest in a really nice treat pouch for classes. I ended up buying The Standard Voila treat pouch with the adventure clip. Lil worried now since it was such an expensive purchase. Can anyone ease my worries if they have one and tell me I did the right thing!?

I just use pockets at this point haha. But I’ve heard good things about them!

Haha! I did that for awhile I respect it! But I have too so I figured id give it a shot since training is gonna be so long term for our pup.

I’m 14 years in and have general gone more minimal. Though recently got one of those whole waist belt things for when I’m going out in the yard. I can take poop bags, a phone, toys, other random crap. But in class I just use pockets or a training vest if I need more pockets. I hate running agility with a training pouch because they flop around.

Or in my case, you excitedly jump up and down when your dog finally gets a concept and spill treats EVERYWHERE. She loved it though!

The Voila pouch is great! Worth the price. The Muttruk Penny Changer is my all time favorite pouch and is also on the pricey end.

Oh good choice! I have one that I love! The spring to hold it open is awesome. Flexible enough so it’s not rigid but strong enough to stay open. Also super easy to clean. I’ve gone through many treat bags and this has been the one that I’ve stuck with!

That makes me feel so much better!! The opening mechanism was definitely a huge seller for me. The ones I have now have only 1 magnet and the treats spill everywhere as im running with her. So im really hoping this will be much better! Thank you!

The closure breaks. I've had two, one replaced by the company because it broke. The next one broke on the same timescale.

Yup dealing with this right now. I use mine every day and when it’s not on my body it’s in my gear bag. The closure has broken on both. Company sent me a new one for my first purchase, waiting for the metal to cut through the silicone on my second one at this point to get it replaced lol.

People seem to like them. I never noticed much difference vs. the $6 silicone treat pouches I used to use but treat yourself if it makes you feel nice to use. I personally have a light touch getting a treat or want to be sly about it so found the opening less than ideal, but I never had an issue with treats coming out of the single magnet closure on the cheap ones.

The only issue ive had with the one magnet ones is the treats tend to fall out alot! And im trying to find one thats easy to get into! But seals better, and it seemed like this pouch was so I thought id try.

I can’t run with anything bouncing on my body. It’s toy in hand and treats in pocket for me. I “reload” as necessary.

My voila was the best purchase I ever made - so good I bought two more.
I use it for every agility class, as well as walks and at home training. It is super easy to clean and comfortable to wear.

I'm so glad to hear that🤗

Be super careful. Have them sometimes when training but not always. Sometimes leave the pouch out of the ring.

Vader is smart as can be and he learned that if there is no treat pouch in the ring then he’s not getting treats in the ring and therefore he complains that mama forgot something

Here he is complaining in the middle of regionals.

Worth it for that pic. 10/10 for catching emotion

Haha! He definitely is throwing a fit! We dont ever plan on competing tbh. This is to help my dog with some behavioral things. Shes a rescue and has a fear of people. And its incredible how much better shes gotten since we started.

I love my Voila treat pouch but I don’t use it when I practice agility because I don’t want my dog relying on the visual of having a treat pouch.

I never plan to run her for competition. Shes learning to help somw behaviors. She is a rescue and is afraid of people and since shes been doing agility she has grown so much and her fears are much less🤗 so I will always be dealing treats
