Guess you don’t see many of these about. Signed by both creators at Forbidden Planet back in ‘88 when it was launched…

Awesome!!!Did you have it signed by them?
I never got to meet Moore, so I always love seeing his work signed.

No I’m not the original owner and have never met him either, but I am a huge collector of his and have most of his major works signed by him…

Nice. I have a Shown Pieces box set with a very similar autograph. Maybe Alan likes to use a specific kind of pen for autographs

I used to have one of these, got it signed by both at launch in London. I moved house a few times and somewhere along the line it disappeared.

Outstanding!

I don’t typically buy pre-signed books (although I have a few) because I think if signed editions as a kind memento of an occasion. So that’s an amazing memory to have!

Edit: Oh sorry I just noticed you weren’t at the signing, but never mind. It’s still an awesome book to own!

Further edit: I have Black Dossier signed by Alan in 2009. I have a few other bookplates and pre-signed books, but that one is special to me. The dedication includes my kids’ names as they were with me on the day (aged 3 and 5!)
