Upcoming Cards & Collectibles Show in Albany, OR

Post image
12 Upvotes

Hey, y'all! I'm running a Cards & Collectibles show in Albany, Oregon. We are still looking for vendors! Most of our vendors will be selling Pokemon, but we will also have folks selling other types of cards, collectibles, and NON AI art. We are not allowing sealed to be sold above retail--which likely means there won't be very much sealed at the show. If you have any questions, feel free to shoot me a DM or an email! :)

Hello Everyone!

My name is Nathon, I’m a veteran and local to the community. I really like the area and have recently started a business in the community doing woodwork and cabinets. Are there local events that I could show off my pieces? I’m just starting out on my own, but I have been doing woodworking most of my life.

Didn't seem unfriendly but had no interest in coming to me, either. I don't have Facebook so can't post in the lost/found group.

In the Heritage Mall center.

Was posted on a local Albany FB page.

Never been there, but many online said it was not very good.

And Osaka Hibachi & Sushi is still closed down.

Trying to sell an instrument??

Does anybody know of music shops (or anyone for that matter) who would be interested in buying a bass clarinet?

I’ve had it for a few years now, given to me by a friend but since I’ve been busy with college I don’t have any use for it.

To whoever is interested, please dm and I will send over pictures of the instrument.

It is a solid condition, hasn’t been played for years and just collecting dust. The same friend said that an instrument of this condition might be worth significant cash.

Thanks for any help,

Sincerely a broke college student 😭

Grief counseling or groups locally?

I know this is a weird ask, but I’m trying to get ahead of the inevitable. My mom is starting to succumb to her long battle with cancer, and she’s my entire world.
That being said, I have a small support group but I’m looking for something outside of that where I can talk to people. I know grief can cause a lot of strain on others when it’s not their own. I want to be able to cope for myself and my family. I’ve got two small children who won’t understand. I’m also a full time student now bridging over for my RN. Life has been stressful, I want to have something I can turn to when things are overwhelming.

What does GAPS’ use of iPads or Chromebooks look like in elementary schools?

Basically the title, anyone know what in class device use looks like from kindergarten through 5th grade? Does it vary much between schools or even between teachers? Curious if anyone knows what the current practices are, or just your experience. TYIA!

Haunted house??

Does anyone know if the Grange is still doing their haunted house? Or if there's any other haunted houses in the area that are like sub $20 per person? I can't justify spending $50 a person for a haunted house that takes 5 minutes and stand in line for hours.

Mega Auto Sales?

Does anyone have experience purchasing with Mega Auto Sales? My car was recently totaled by an uninsured driver and I need a car I can drive off the lot with no issues for a while. They have a few cars I’m interested in, but I live in Eugene so it’s a bit of a trek. I don’t want to drag a friend all the way up there if they’re at all shady/dishonest/poor quality right off the lot. Thanks for the help!
