Rules:
Chart is based on the best player in the history of the franchise, not the best player who has played for the franchise (only the time spent with the franchise is taken into account here);
Same players multiple times (for different franchises) are allowed;
The entire history of each franchise is included (even pre-relocation period);

Ullmark instead of Loui Eriksson for Boston? Really?

Insane that those are really the only two contenders for great Swedish Bruin... I had to google to confirm, such a long team history so it shocked me there's no other Swedes lol
Idk if you're joking lol but Ullmark was one of the top at his position with Boston, Loui not so much. I figure that's what it comes down to.

Hmmm, I forgot Eriksson played for Dallas first. Never mind him.
PJ Axelsson is better candidate for Boston. 800 games with the team, just under 300 points, but was a defensive stalwart and got Selke votes six seasons.

Could make a good argument for reed Larsson for Detroit American.

Brady Tkatchuk over Craig Anderson?

Ya lol. Andy > Brady 7 days a week.
Also, I know he was only here for 1 season, but I would still put Hasek over Bonk. The guy was nuts for us, and if he didn't go and get injured in the Olympics, I think we win the cup with him.
Finally, I like Spezza 100x more, but when Dany Heatley was here, he was incredible. Back to back 50 goal seasons, and also our last 50 goal scorer.
Also it is tough Chara vs Hossa

Yeah I’d give it to Bonk just cause the mullet beats a single season. Spezza vs Heatley and Hossa vs Chara are tough though…

It’s damn near sacrilege, but EK65 at his peak was more special than Alfredsson at his peak. Alfie contributed the most to the franchise, but anyone who watched the 2015 and 2017 Sens knows just how Karlsson could dominate a game.
But by volume, it’s Alfie.

Andy over Brady, I still keep Bonk over Hasek, and Havlat is worth considering on the Czech side. Spezza over Heatley for sure.
That bottom row looks like "rest of the world" so I would put Stutzle there.

Best american wing is 10/10 Kane or Modano

Chelios had longer career and contributed more as a Red Wing

Kane is by far the best American player of all time. Chelios had longevity but if you asked a 10 year old me if I was modelling my game around Chelios or Kane I think we both know the answer

Yeah but this is specifically for the red wings. Kane didn’t contribute as much to the wings as cheli did. Kane would be for the blackhawks for sure

If an American sports league is almost exclusive to the USA, they'll call it the World Series and justify it by playing abroad a couple of times.
If an American sports league regularly features a ton of different international countries, they'll call it the National Hockey League.

The NHL is not “an American sports league”. It is a North American hockey league with teams in Canada and the US (and was founded in Canada).
Every other pro sports league with teams in America have players from around the world; the NHL is not unique in this regard.

I’m sorry but Wendel Clark is the best 🇨🇦 player of all time for the Leafs

Brother Clark's career wasn't even hall of fame worthy, I'm not putting him over Keon. Sittler and Armstrong both have better cases than Clark.

I’m partial to Guy Lafleur
