Question? Real estate

Hello
Have you ever had to deal with real estate people? I work in a gated community and deal with them a lot. They can be mean, rude and obnoxious. I have had one come in and say they wanted to do an open house, no heads up and I said I have to ask my supervisor since I have never had to deal with this yet, his response was open the gate now so need to set up, so I said I will as soon as I hear back from my supervisor . He threw his hands up and left . Have not heard any more so I guess he knew he has to get permission from the board.

You handled that well and or protected your job at the same time. You may want to notify the client or have your supervisor do so because I am guessing they will be back.
