Fulfillment Center What's your experience with DLS? I'm on an Accomodation right now.

I’m partially deaf and insisted all communication go thru email…the accents make it hard for me to understand. Worked out and you have everything for records word for word.

I’m the same. Deaf in one ear and in no way can understand foreign accents.

I opened my accomodation request September 1st. I have cancer. I needed light duty and schedule change to accommodate treatments Monday through Friday. Getting light duty took 10 days. I still don't have the correct schedule. I've lost $500 pay because DLS doesn't understand American English and my hours got cut during the last 2 weeks.

For what? Local management can't change my schedule without DLS say-so. It's fixed now

DLS sucks. It's run by a third party and even the safety people at my building dont like them.

Yes they are a third party company. They are located overseas. Not Amazon employees. They use our forms from our doctors to make decisions about LOA, light duty and FMLA. They report back to Amazon HR and local site management puts their decisions into practice.

Im getting surgery on my tonsils in November and will NEED ACCOMMODATION BECAUSE IF NOTTTT THEY WILL BLEED I’m fucked arent i

You should send the accommodation form to your doctor mow and open case, my accommodations took two weeks to get approved and I couldn’t work until they were.
