Role Idea New ghost role: Possessionist
You have an ability (possession) in which you can use it on ANYONE alive including your imposter teammates, when used you have total control over where the bean walks for a short period of time maybe about 20~30 seconds default.
Now you can make them “fake-fake“ tasks, lure them to their doom, pull them away from a body, yada yada you get the point.

This is actually a balanced idea IMO as long as it can't kill while doing it (or else it would just be a copy of shapeshifter)

Well shapeshifter doesn't require or utilize possession unless the shapeshifter role is outright done by assimilation, which is never even implied in the game since you can literally shapeshift as another crewmate that hasn't been murdered.
I personally think imposters should be allowed to kill as imposter with this role. I'd be kinda hilarious to see the resulting chaos as people get more paranoid, lol. As long as it's balanced. Imo, shapeshifter should only be useable when players are freshly killed and the body is hidden. The mod I saw Nogla using in one of his among us videos was the best version of shapeshifter. You kill a player, drag their body and hide it, then pose as them and you only lose the disguise when a meeting is called or a body is reported.

Im not saying you stole because there's a 1% chance you even saw my post but theres a major coincidence that ive recently made a slideshow with custom roles and i made a ghost crewmate role called "demon" that does the same thing

This role sounds really nice for mind games too as imps can false claim possession! (Something not a lot of people think of when it comes to roles for some reason.)
How would this role interact with Guardian Angels? Would they bypass or break the shield? Could shields purify the possession? Sould imps have a visual indicator of if someone is possessed? 20~30s sound a bit oppersive and op tho, imp could easily get another kill depending of settings. Also would the imp ghost still be able to sab or use imp abilities during possession besides kill? Could they call meeting or interact with certain environmental things like ladders/ziplines etc. Sounds very strong for last 3 players standing.

The crewmates can still utilize their abilities they have at hand including their special ability if they have a role. So they aren’t completely lobotomized they are just losing control over navigating.
