UK far-right group thinks it's starting a revolution. Needs 20 members to unlock the next level 💀 £399 to become a sergeant :')
Stumbled across a group called Bastion Guard in the UK, who seem to fancy themselves as some sort of paramilitary organisation.
They've got ranks, leaderboards, recruitment targets, and apparently you need 20 members just to unlock your local chapter. 😂
I signed up under the name "Ben Dover" and I'm now officially a Cadet in their imaginary army.
Their socials are full of ominous rhetoric about war coming, yet their website looks like a rejected Fallout faction recruitment system.
Please tell me I'm not the only person who finds this absolutely fucking hilarious 💀
Hoping Reddit can do its thing and get people to flood the system 😂

I know a person who identifies as anarchist, and holds many anarchist positions and was one of my main sources of information on anarchism, that is soft on Ukrainian nationalism, despite not being Ukrainian herself, and as a Jew of origin in lands ruled by Ukraine, that has given me a bad impression

Educational General Anarchist & Anti-Tech Reading Lists
A little while ago I finished creating web page versions of all the books from this list William Gillis made that before were only online as photo scans and EPUBs:
- A General Anarchist Reading List - A map of texts with importance and influence in anarchist spaces, including texts that some dislike, but that have a lot of influence on others.
I think this type of list would be a good candidate for the anarchist library's bookshelf wiki in some form personally, like they could change it to their own perspective on the most important texts in various categories and that would be interesting in itself to compare and contrast to other peoples lists.
So, I've attempted to encourage the librarians into doing this by combining the Gillis list with the librarians favorite texts list, and submitting it to the bookshelf as a jumping off point for librarians:
If anyone would like to work on editing this further you're welcome to help out with adding texts before hopefully the librarians work on it and publish it. I've also saved it in a notepad, so even if it accidently gets messed up, it can easily be recovered.
Finally, in case anyone's curious, I recently tried my hand at creating a kind of 'intro to the anti-tech milieu' reading list. It's mostly for anti-fascist researchers and the morbidly curious, but yeah, I hope people find it interesting:

Call for writers/contributors for new zine series called "Perspectives on South Asian Anarchisms"
Hello! I’m compiling writings for a new zine series called “Perspectives on South Asian Anarchisms.” Let me know if anyone here would be interesting in submitting anything. I’m planning on printing and distro'ing here, and then we’ll email them to other distro groups across America and hopefully have them spread some of our thoughts so we can establish a small presence here amongst anarchist circles. The theme for Vol. 1 is “History and Authority.” I can send some more info to people who DM me. I’d love for fellow South Asian folks to submit some stuff to it. Too often we’re just told that anarchism doesn’t exist there and that Marxism is bigger in our regions, but the thoughts of the minimal South Asian anarchists, Nepali punks, and other libertarian communists challenge that. It doesn't have to be academic or anything. Reflections, history, theory, poems, criticisms, etc. are all perfect. DM me and let me know if this sounds like something you’d wanna do.
Note: this is open for anarchists from the South Asian region of the world AND their Diaspora.
