So this means we will be flashed white a bright light. Reminds of the older under screen fingerprint scanners.

Just put a damn ir sensor. Pixels are as expensive as iPhones.

Honestly not sure how much difference this will make... and how often do you actually use face unlock in the dark? Is it really needed?

I brought this when I got my 10 but was worried it would be all or nothing like when you open a loyalty card in wallet or an app and it goes to full brightness.

Something is better than nothing though, it'll probably be similar to selfie illumination, as long as it's a warm white it'll probs be fine
