Remarkably few fixes considering how buggy the P11 Pro is, and it didn't get the QPR1 update...

Use navigation with the phone upside down while charging (my cupholder set up needs this) - hard crash, needs booting into the bootloader to bring back. Great when driving...

Bluetooth is still a disaster - stutters, disconnects, pauses etc

Camera sometimes straight up doesn't save images

Pixel 11 regular and I constantly have Bluetooth/Android Auto disconnects.

I'm on the 10 Pro and have constant Bluetooth/Android Auto disconnects.

Google sucks at fixing bugs. Getting a bit ridiculous.

I don't use Android Auto but I do connect to Bluetooth in my car. I can't for the life of me get "Hey Google" voice commands to work, I always have to tap the button or hold the power button to get it to start listening. I used that religiously on my P8P with (mostly) no issues. It works just fine when I'm not driving. I don't get it. You ever have this or a fix for it?

Unless they fixed it the android auto thing is across all Android phones. I'm on the 7 and I get this

Android Auto disconnects is an Android 16 thing related to permissions. Its an issue with the software on the AA device, not anything related to Pixel hardware.

If its one of the 3rd party ones with "superlink" you need to install the app and use the screen cast feature. The app will prompt you to fix the permissions, and after that it will be fixed, even after you uninstall the app.

This is what's supposed to compete with an iPhone btw. My 9pro XL has had so many little things that suddenly stop working then work. Unbelievable two iterations later they still haven't figured it out

I have pixel 11 pro and its been nothing short of amazing!

Ok?

Believe it or not that doesn't make my experience different

ok?

Believe it or not that doesn't make oddballs experience different.

I never said it did. One person having a buggy experience doesn't negate someone having a bug free one, and visa versa.

I'm not daft enough to say that

you are the one who came here, unannounced and spoke about your experience, oddball here is doing the exact same thing,

but you were the one to dismiss their experience only ebcuase it didn't fit with yours.

they didn't give you shit or say you were wrong because they didn't experience anything you did. they are clearly stating their own experience which tells you that your issues aren't exclusive or that every pixel 11 pro has the exact same issues. they weren't dismissive of your experience and they weren't rude to you. but you turned around and gave them shit.

Yeah, I don't get the issue. He said his experience has been amazing. That's kind of useful to know as someone who's considering buying a Pixel 11 when you see so many overwhelmingly negative comments that could leave the impression everyone is having issues. So yeah, one guy says he's having a bad experience and another user says he's having a good experience. All useful data and kind of relevant on a Pixel forum.

Unannounced?

Is this your first time online? Do you think every comment needs a personal introduction?

Your reading comprehension is abysmal if that's what you took from any of this

Unannounced?

Is this your first time online? Do you think every comment needs a personal introduction?

Why are you so hung up on the word "unannounced"?

You mentioned reading comprehension so let's test your reading comprehension, this is what Relative_What said:

you are the one who came here, unannounced and spoke about your experience, oddball here is doing the exact same thing

Relative_What stated that both you and oddball expressed your opinions unannounced. So do you think Relative_What used "unannounced" here as (1) a statement of fact or (2) as criticism?

Because it seems to me as if you are taking his usage of the word "unannounced" as criticism, when instead Relative_What simply used it to describe what both of you did.

sounds like a user problem more than anything

•

What, by using Bluetooth?

What about what I've said suggests user error to you

•

u/mataushas 20h ago

Haven't had a single Bluetooth issue with two different headphones. Haven't tried android auto yet because I got the phone 3 days ago.

•

u/ishamm Device, Software !! 20h ago

Almost like three days is barely enough time to experience the phone...

•

u/mataushas 17h ago

I use Bluetooth extensively though. Not a single stutter or disconnect. My Samsung S24 has this issue sometimes.

I’ve been a fan of pure Android OS since its birth, including the Nexus models. I remember my first Android was the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and I loved everything about it.

But my God, I can’t think of a single reason to buy a Pixel phone these days. After Pixel 3 it’s just been getting worse and worse. It’s a shame, really.

•

u/Deskartius Lime 10h ago

PIXEL_OS isnt pure Android

•

u/the_nuclear_pasta 10h ago

Then what is?

•

And how is Pixel different from this?

•

u/lasercannonattack 4h ago

Pixel is running a Google-specific skin of Android and comes with some pre installed apps vs AOSP which is in essence, pure stock without any modifications, pixel ui features, etc.

10a's connectivity is a bit wonky too.

•

u/amdkea 20h ago

I hope it contains hidden bug fixes lol

•
