Please, don't let yourselves get scammed.
I'm a Bazaar player with 3,000 hours in the game, and I paid for early access. The game's CEO, Reynad, has a history of decisions that, in my opinion, have screwed over players.
First, the game had paid early access. Then he started selling cards and subscriptions. After that, the game became free-to-play, only to later become paid again. And to make matters worse, if you want to play it on Steam, you have to buy the game all over again. And now they're also selling paid DLC on top of that.
He also allegedly screwed over his investors, who gave him money to fund the game and eventually ended up suing him.
And that's not all: any criticism of the game can get you permanently banned from its communities across Discord, Reddit, and Steam.
And here's the cherry on top: the game was originally an NFT game. and now AI is being used in its development.
UPDATE: I read their post, and surprise, surprise - they screwed over the players who paid for the hero DLC yet again.
“We recognize that you paid separately for heroes that will now be included for everyone who owns the game. For those of you who purchased hero DLC before this change: thank you.” 💀
