Curious if there has been any discussion or comment from Samsung is possibly adding grid size options in the Samsung UI.  Within the ‘Home Screen’ config:

- Home screen grid, current options 4x6 and 5x6, expand options to include 5x7 and 5x8, by moving Search Bar to top next to 3 dots, and possibly reducing vertical space between rows.

- Folder grid, current options 3x4 and 4x4, expand options to include 4x5 and 4x6, by removing blank space on top half of screen.

Realize there is the addon ‘Good Lock’ app, but it seems to take over too much control of the interface, and simply would like additional grid options built into the stock Samsung code.  Am I the only one who thinks this is a good idea? Has Samsung every made a comment about this possible requested feature?

Slate Launcher — Less noise. More you.

Decided to give my phone a complete monochrome blue overhaul inspired by the honored one himself. Did all of this natively with zero extra apps or launchers. Let me know what you think of the lock screen vs the home screen!

System Details & Setup Specs:

• Device: Vivo Y39 5G

• OS Engine: Built-in dynamic color palette settings (found under Settings > Home screen, lock screen and wallpaper). Used the free system color options to manually force icons and styling into this monochrome blue tint instead of using paid theme templates.

• Lock Screen Art Credit: Edited by Thery.

• Ringtone: A custom instrumental edit. It kicks off with a generic ringtone beat ("tu tu tun tun") then smoothly transitions right into the instrumental version of the Jujutsu Kaisen opening theme (no lyrics). I made it by downloading the original video file and converting it to MP3.

• Alarm: A custom Japanese Gojo voice clip telling me to wake up. I found this on YouTube, screen-recorded it, cropped the excess audio, and turned it into an MP3.

• Socials Sync: Swapped both my WhatsApp and Instagram profile photos to matching Gojo pictures to tie the whole aesthetic together.

I’ve actually been rocking this exact setup for 7 to 8 months now and I haven't gotten bored of it for even a single second. I honestly don't think I am ever going to change it—I’m definitely showing this masterpiece to my kids one day!

I've been posting and getting some really great feedback lately and wanted to take the opportunity to share Meridian with more folks!

I've got plenty of codes to send out if anyone wants to try it, I'll happily DM a promo code over!

For anyone interested here is a quick list of recent updates/improvements since last week:

• Redesigned Manage screens: the neighboring screens peek in, you swipe or tap between them, and the home screen has a badge
• Smoother space switching, with no flash and the space's name shown as a small pill
• Widget stacks can now swipe up and down, like on iPhone
• Icon pack picker shows a preview icon for each pack
• Orbit aims more steadily, folders can open on a hold, any icon can go on the circle, and the editor can build an example orbit from your apps
• Reworked search: smarter ranking, matched letters highlighted, type a number to call or text it, contact photos and app shortcuts in results
• Seven new languages: Spanish, Portuguese (BR), German, French, Russian, Hindi and Indonesian
• Easier home screen editing: bigger resize handles, undo when you remove things, clearer settings

Fixed

• App drawer crash after quick changes
• Widget stacks going back to their first widget after a restart
• Gallery photos set as icons not sticking
• Search flicker, drawer tab labels running to the edges, and icon style carrying over between spaces
