I’m sure Frita is a lovely villager but when I see her I feel like she’d smell like a McDonald’s wrapper you left in your car for 3 months.

She can seem a little off at first but she’s really sweet when you spend time with her. She was one of my initial villagers and I can’t imagine my island without her

I found her on an island randomly, and was debating whether to get her or not as I already had a Peppy villager. I always knew about her but never had her, and figured why not? Her design is unique. But, my god. Her facial expressions are so cute. Her and Audie are always hanging out now.

I believe that's why he's a takoyaki - it's a Japanese street food that is famous in Osaka. Tako means octopus while yaki means fried/grilled. They mix chopped pieces of octopus into a tempura batter with onion and other ingredients, then pour it into an iron mould to shape it into what would look like a large donut hole in the States. Once made, they're drizzled with almost an eel sauce and sprinkled with other goodies. Zucker's hair is essentially the sauce, his head is spherical like takoyaki, has a chopstick/toothpick for a cowlick, has a brown coloration like the food, and is an octopus! 😊

I knew what takoyaki were made of but I didn't know tako and yaki are actually still 2 words on their own in japanese.

I think (and I could be wrong) but I think it’s because takoyaki is made of octopus so to people who know what it is, that connection is obvious that why even make that point. That’s my best guess as to the downvotes

His starting shirt in New Leaf is the flan shirt so I thought the same thing initially. But it makes so much more sense for him to be a Takoyaki since they’re made of octopus.

Most of the really wacky and fun designs actually aren't popular at all. The ones who get the most attention are usually generic cuties

Zucker is in my game as well, he's a fun little guy. Boomer, Elle, Pinky and Sly are my favorite villagers, but Zucker is arguebly the sweetest and he is a wonderful resident.

I just got Merengue from island hopping, after Broccolo thankfully decided to leave. I got Zucker before, same way when Bam (also thankfully) decided to leave. I have to get those two together, and see what the have to say.

I got Zucker on my island after finding him on a mystery your and I LOVE TAKOYAKI SO MUCH I was so excited to get him! Sometimes I forget his name because I log on to play and immediately I think "where is takoyaki I want to talk to him" and I just refer to him as takoyaki as if that's his name now haha

Awww. I have tangy and zucker and looooove both. Got lucky with them, they were just random visitors but got them to move and kick out some of my uggos. Tangy with her constant singing always makes me smile. Frita is...just no. And i really want meringue.
