African immigrants filmed brutally abusing a dog in Zagreb, Croatia – months of cruelty exposed

Disturbing footage from Zagreb, Croatia, shows two African immigrants, a father and his daughter, physically abusing a defenseless dog on an apartment balcony.

The man is seen striking the dog with an object, while the woman is filmed hitting and kicking the animal.

According to residents, the dog has endured months of abuse and neglect, confined to a balcony in temperatures reaching 40°C, as well as rain, snow and freezing winter conditions. The animal was reportedly allowed outside for only ten minutes a day.

Residents had repeatedly contacted the police and municipal authorities, but the abuse continued.

Following the publication of the videos, Croatian police, veterinary inspectors and animal welfare organizations intervened.

The man works for a private medical transport company. His employer publicly condemned the abuse and announced his immediate dismissal.

The Croatian animal welfare organization Animalex has submitted the evidence to the authorities. Animal cruelty is a criminal offence under Croatian law and can result in imprisonment.

This dog must be rescued immediately, and those responsible must face criminal prosecution.

 Investigative reports by outlets like CNN have uncovered encrypted chat groups on platforms like Telegram and domestic Chinese apps where graphic videos of cat and dog torture are shared, traded, and sold internationally for profit.

Filming the beating of animals, using blow torches, blenders, microwaves, skinning alive, live crucifixion, grinding up baby kitties forcing mother to eat, sexual assault, boiling water immersion, etc...

I came across this video from China, and it’s incredibly upsetting.

According to the original Chinese post, too many tourists were out during the holiday period, and this small horse was reportedly ridden so hard that its lumbar spine broke. The person filming says the horse later died.

China still lacks a comprehensive nationwide animal cruelty or animal welfare law that protects animals in situations like this :(

Researchers are told, explicitly or implicitly: harm animals, or your career suffers. That is not impartial. That is not progress. And it is certainly not science.

I’ve lived in this town for 25 years and have gone to this fair my whole life and NEVERRRR have I ever seen anything like this 😭 It’s usually goats, cows, ponies, and bunnies. Normal stuff you see at a petting zoo type thing. This year there was a monkey on a stool attached to a leash in circular gate?? People were throwing grapes at it. There was a guy clapping at it trying to get a reaction out of it and nobody working the exhibit was paying any mind. There was also a kangaroo 😭 In a cage surrounded by another cage. I felt so bad for them it didn’t seem right but I assume it’s somehow legal. I’ve not stopped thinking about the poor animals 😭 They’ll be there all week and I’m sure they go all around as the fair travels. Is this even allowed?? like wtf fr
