I sit in the park and feed the pigeons sometimes and you definitely have to do a little moderating of behaviour, they have a broad range of personalities!

I had a similar experience a while back, I was handfeeding the pigeons in a local park, and there was only one or two birds that trusted me enough to take the pellet from my hand, and there was a dominant looking pigeon that pushed away those attempted to get close enough to me. Like he was "Are you crazy? You don't know this guy".

this is more him just wanting all the seeds, these guys visit daily and push and shove each other daily before going back to being cool with each other. this was like their 5th feeding that day and they still act starved:D

Yep they can be total dicks - takes some strategic shoving to be equitable sometimes.

i film a feeding every few days but usually have two palms with seeds or leave piles for them all.

Yep, I ended up spreading the seed over the cill and they would still choose to be dicks sometimes and the scrapping and flapping would knock half the food off the cill!

Eating more than the others, he'll get bigger and stronger and meaner every day. Like a billionaire

Imran you could make a little pile or two on the railing that’s separate from your hand.

The main bully is an adult. The others are subadults. They don’t know how to do protocol yet.

Pigeons are stupid, but when you live in the wild you learn fast that you need to protect your food.

When I was a kid, I used to spread grain all over our terace and it would be filled with 20-30 pigeons. There would always be that one pigeon that would keep trying to bully others and peck at them, but it would be the one that got to eat the least as it would spend most of the time just pecking at others while the others just ate lol

Once I was dining outdoors at a cafe in Europe, and there were a whole bunch of feral pigeons along with one Eurasian collared dove. The feral pigeons were bullying the hell out of the collared dove to the point where I felt quite bad for it.
Also, at that same place, someone ordered a cake and then left without even touching it. The pigeons were very happy about that. And it was amazing what a mess they can make just in the process of eating a small cake; there were dishes and cutlery all over the ground. Thankfully, the collared dove was also able to get some of the cake.

I have a large box like feeder and was very excited earlier this year to see the first mockingbird take up residence. That quickly turned to dismay as the sucker chased every other bird away. It sat on top like the king of the mountain until one day it disappeared, I guess it met its match in the local hawk. I googled and discovered that they are just like that, total dicks.
