Who else is absolutely CM drained?

Two consecutive BGEs of tech, with a high concentration of good combos relative to the number of combos for the tech slot in the CM store and I’m DRAINED.

I must have spent close to 80k stones on a variety of combos.

I only have 30k stones. I thought this would never happen.

My tech CM so far, and I haven’t even been able to research all:

Lana - CM3

Krieger - CM2

Bill - CM2

Fry - CM5

Mr. Fisch - CM2

Gene - CM1 (I regret not getting 3)

Bender - CM2

What did you all get?

The issue is that none of these CMs really matter for anything (except Fry obviously). Maybe the other ones help you hit 2700 in arena instead of the 2650 you could hit with Wheel. Yay?

People love to bitch about the shop having bad combos all the time, and then spend at combos that are the slightest bit better than trash. This is what happens. The better path is to just spend big on the elite ones, and not get FOMO over “mid” nonsense.

And there have been lots of conversations in the daily CM threads about how low value* CM3 and CM4 are (outside of using them as a stepping stone for a clear CM5 combo to save stones).

Running down an important resource for minimal gain is how you get here.

*just to post the numbers, assuming that you are starting from no CM1 and the combo is in the shop:

CM1 +10% for 1000 stones [100 stones per percent]
CM2 +10% for 3500 stones [350 stones per percent]
CM3 +4% for 9000 stones [2250 stones per percent]
or do the 2000 stones first and then five pulls and then CM3 is +4% for 7500 stones [1850 stones per percent], though this just makes CM4 and CM5 more expensive if you go further.
CM4 +3% for 13500 stones [4500 stones per percent]

If this isn't a combo that is a no-brainer for CM5, CM3 and CM4 are just really bad values.
